"The suite was cozy and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay overall. The only downside was that the kitchen was not very well equipped for cooking. Some basic items were missing, such as scissors and a frying pan. Adding a few more essential kitchen tools would make the stay even more comfortable, especially for guests staying several nights."
Grande Rockies Resort - Bellstar Hotels & Resorts

"No access to the pool staying in the Annex. Clean room with easy check in and out and convenient parking. Room could use some updates in regards to maintenance. Thermostat could not be set as cool as we would have liked so it was warm for sleeping. The mini fridge thermostat was broken off so could not be adjusted. The TV did not turn on with the remote, the TV button itself needed to be pressed. The TV remote also would only adjust the volume up or down by one (max volume or one less than max), an upgrade to a smart TV would be great. Convenient access to many restaurants and downtown canmore. The restaurant on site (The Grande) was ok for breakfast though we did see a mouse in the dining room which was rather off-putting. The walls are quite thin so very easy to hear other guests, particularly those above you. Great mountain view and window that opens which is a nice bonus."

"Hotel itself was great, Definitely expensive for the space you get but was the best price compared to other hotels in the area. Check in was a nightmare. There is no "front desk" so it must all be done online. I hadn't set up my eSIM since I was traveling from the US so I was trying to figure this all out while trying to connect to wifi. I can't imagine how difficult this process would be if I were someone older and less "tech savvy". My parents, for example, would never have been able to figure it out. Definitely a huge negative, IMO. :/"

"This was a more affordable option which included free parking, a microwave and Cappuccino machine in the communal room, and several restaurants nearby. Train tracks, which go through the middle of Canmore, are directly behind the hotel. We heard or saw the train several times however it never woke us up. As a light sleeper, I only heard it if I was already awake. Our room was comfortable and clean but the ground floor room offered little privacy outside the window. No matter tho, the views are stunning!"
