But don’t be fooled by the upgrade. The 200 block of king rooms is shabby compared to doubles. Bed and room are old but very clean. Still a nice surprise. Restaurants and grocery store very close」

「Nice sized rooms and we enjoyed coming in after our night out and finding a popcorn machine that provided a great evening snack. The other rooms do seem to be occupied by people living there with food, clothes and possibly garbage sitting outside some rooms. We didn’t expect that but I guess it is an extended stay hotel. Room was fairly clean and simple so if you’re expecting frills don’t stay here.」

「Great room for the price! Dog friendly hotel room, which was great for our little anxious doggie. Included a mini fridge for her food… so helpful! The hotel is Right off the main drag so it was easy to access. Shares a parking lot with IHOP and Chilis which made getting dinner very easy. Delicious free breakfast in the morning and a more than reasonable checkout time of 11am. The staff was the icing on the cake… everyone was so friendly and accommodating. 「Thoguht it was a fine place to stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the beds had nice firm mattresses. I liked the old posters showing the movies that had been filmed in Canon City and the plaques on the doors showing which Stars had stayed in the rooms. The breakfast could be improved. The biscuits and bagels were still frozen when I got to them. But, breakfast at a place like this is always hit or miss.」
