“Beautiful property, small room with only one small stool for seating.”

“It was conveniently located to our train excursion. The room was small, but it felt upscale.”

“I hate to bash hardworking staff but..We never had sufficient toilet tissue or towels. 3 adults were registered, we only had 2 towels. When I requested more toilet tissue, the desk promised to send it but never did. After requesting a room refresh we ended up with no TP. We bought it ourselves. The desk staff wasn't the friendliest. The cafeteria people were lovely and we enjoyed the pool.”

“This was a shocker. This hotel needs a major make over . When we were checking in it seemed ok but. But as we got further in it was visible this place needs a total makeover. Its hard to find a good motel in Cannon City without driving 10 miles . We were so caught off guard. the Room s are dirty I mean on the morning we left the toilet seat fell off toilet. very very much needed update / alarm clock did not work. pool is locked in order to get in you have to go to front desk and ask for……

“Thoguht it was a fine place to stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the beds had nice firm mattresses. I liked the old posters showing the movies that had been filmed in Canon City and the plaques on the doors showing which Stars had stayed in the rooms. The breakfast could be improved. The biscuits and bagels were still frozen when I got to them. But, breakfast at a place like this is always hit or miss.”

“Nice sized rooms and we enjoyed coming in after our night out and finding a popcorn machine that provided a great evening snack. The other rooms do seem to be occupied by people living there with food, clothes and possibly garbage sitting outside some rooms. We didn’t expect that but I guess it is an extended stay hotel. Room was fairly clean and simple so if you’re expecting frills don’t stay here.”

“Wonderful property and great location. My only concern was with only one bathroom for many bedrooms upstairs, it was difficult to share with friends. We had to use the downstairs bathroom.”

“Beautiful cabin like decor interior and exterior, jacuzzi in its own Gazebo which Kathy opened up early for us in the morning Great breakfast sandwiches with lots more to enjoy. Wonderful soft mattress!!! So cozy. Large cozy room with microwave and fridge. No in room or off hour beverages, only at breakfast. Safe area. Clean. Access Arkansas rec area in town 5 minutes away by car. WiFi, good AC! I fully recommend it. Well kept up!!!”

“Sunshine was a wonderful host answering all our questions by text quickly and very accommodating. This place is in the most beautiful spot, 360 degree views, peaceful and serene. We reserved the repurposed barn which had 3 bedrooms and one large well equipped bathroom. The common space is large with a pool table and full size pac man game the kids loved! The dog friendly part was wonderful as we were able to bring our two pups. The space tidy and well appointed but was rather dusty (not……

“What a fantastic place! We took a chance on a newly opened option and it paid off. Amazing attention to detail and amenities. Julia was so friendly and made sure we enjoyed our stay. The first hotel I've stayed at where the coffee is good enough to not have to go elsewhere and buy some. 😂”
