"My family had a great time staying at this property. The check-in process was simple which was a huge win after a 6+hr drive with kids and pups. Being just a short drive to Ashville and peaceful drive to the ski slopes, this lovely farmhouse offers an escape while still allowing you to be connected to the city and other attractions. The baby goats and piglets are adorable, but their handsome farm cat, Manoosh was the highlight of our stay! Jean has a gift for hospitality and Steve is a talented photographer. "Positives- House was very clean. Well-stocked kitchen and bathroom. Very comfortable mattresses. Plenty of room for our family of six (2 adult kids and 2 teens). Nice fire pit and comfy chairs around fire pit. Beautiful view looking up at a mountain and down across a field with chickens. Hammock and picnic table available for creekside relaxation and enjoyment. Negatives- One of the reasons we come to the mountains is to enjoy the fresh, crisp mountain air. Prior to travel, we had speedy and clear communications with the owners/managers, with easy check-in followed by a warm welcome and offers for local info as needed.
