"Gleich im Nebengebäude gibt es eine Bar. Trotz geschlossener Fenster war es so laut, dass wir bis zwei Uhr morgens nicht schlafen konnten (und das Ende März, wo es draussen noch kalt war. Wie laut muss das im Sommer sein, wenn alle draussen rumstehen!!!). Frühstück war ok. Zustand des Zimmers (102) ist sehr alt, Vorhang verrissen und hing runter, Rolladenband war gerissen, die Badezimmertüre war verbogen und liess sich nicht schliessen etc. Immerhin war es sauber. "The whole experience was wonderful. Very clean and very comfortable. The host was friendly and made sure we had everything. There is a kitchenette on each floor and laundry machines on the upper floor. Each room has a mini fridge. (No freezers) The furnishings in the room are well done. The room photos online are legit and reflect how nice it is. There are quiet hours too, so we had a good sleep. "

The hotel is right on the doorstep of the Abbey District and other attractions are a short walk away. There is also good public transport connections nearby if you're looking to travel out further. St Gallen hotel was a challenge to find due to how new it is but we arrived and were able to check straight in with the welcoming, friendly lady on reception.
