The hill country has always been our favorite place but this place took it to a whole new level! Spacious house! Gorgeous property! The right amount away from everything that you feel the care free country life but close enough you can run out for snacks real quick! All the views and the areas set up to enjoy the views are the highest on my list! Will definitely be back soon!!!

Reviewer Comments: It was a great visit, only flaw was the screened in room with the ping pong table did not have any working lights in there and could not use it very much since most of the day was spent at the lake. That was not good with the kiddos.

You will not be disappointed. There is something for everyone here. Thank you for maintaining such a great rental property. We did not want to leave.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view was beautiful. The walk down to the water was a bit difficult. It was steep and slippery (due to rocks sliding under your feet). We loved drinking coffee on the porch each day and loved seeing all of the deer. Overall, it was a great experience. There were a few items that I did not like. The owners or management company makes the guest bring heavy garbage cans up the very long drive way and you have to roll it up a very big hill up to the road, or they charge you $50. They do not disclose this anywhere. This was a major problem for us because it was all women. For the amount of money they are charging to stay there, they should not be requiring guests to do that. Also, the carpet on the stairs and upstairs was horrible and needs to be replaced. Again, for the amount they are charging, you would not expect the carpet to be in such bad shape. The master room was beautiful and was set up very nice. The guest rooms looked like they had old, beds from a garage sale, none of which matched. The views were amazing, and this place could be incredible, if they put some work into it.

We had an amazing time, the location and water access was excellent. We were able to anchor our boat right near the house and come and go all day long without having to worry about trailering our boat back and forth. We even were able to enjoy the water access to the lake without the boat which is a definite plus! The property was beautiful and enjoyed seeing all of the wildlife. The deer would come and eat right from your hands. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend your rental

We had a group of seven 17-20 year old boys with us for a quick summer trip. They had a great time. The house was good for 8-10 people and the lake front was great. The only suggestion I have is that the owner replace the gas grill because it is significantly corroded...but it did work fine. The kitchen and living areas are good for the max occupancy of 12 in the listing. The management company that runs the location communicated well and responded quickly when we had questions. It was a great trip!

We stayed for 3 days at the house in July and it was very comfortable. The direct access to the lake was fantastic and the kids really enjoyed splashing around. The house has plenty of space to spread out and relax. The upstairs bedrooms could probably use a carpet cleaning as there were some big stains, but otherwise the house seemed very clean. We greatly enjoyed our time here!

We felt at home there and can't wait to go back again! It was clean and everything was in order and ready for our arrival. The lake is incredibly beautiful and the water is clear just like the pictures. We were able to visit San Antonio and the Alamo one day with our kids. We also recommend taking the Canyon Gorge tour. It gave a great history of the area and the lake which made being there even more special. There is access to a number of nice restaurants. We recommend dining at the Gristmill in Gruene. We recommend this as a vacation rental for anyone who needs a relaxing and peaceful place to stay.

The name fits perfectly and our family really enjoyed the location. The house was terrific, clean, well appointed and you could tell the owners really care. It was like having our own little Caribbean island resort and a perfect location for visiting nearby wineries, etc. We're planning on renting this amazing mini resort for an upcoming wedding in 2019, and we can't wait to visit again !!! Truly a sparkling gem in the Lone Star State :)

It was our first time to Canyon Lake and we absolutely loved it. Even though the weather did not cooperate, we still enjoyed the house, views, amenities, and time away. The pluses: - VERY comfortable for 6 of us- The house was perfect and very functional- The house and lake were easy to access - Views are amazing- The house, while a bit dated, has a ton of charm- Stove, Fridge, Coffee Maker, Blender, Toaster, microwave - All major and small appliances are thereThe Opportunity:- Kitchen is not well stocked regarding pots and pans, cookie sheets, etc... it was tough to cook a meal for 6 without having to do it in phases (1 skillet as an example)- This is very easy to fix and I'm confident the owners and rental company will address - they were VERY available throughout our stay.To sum up - We left wanting to stay longer, and will definitely return. It was a fun and relaxing weekend.
