Nice Place
Nice place and I would love to stay here during the summer. The lake view is spectacular. Had a girls weekend and 4 of us had plenty of room with our own rooms. The media room was super nice to watches movies… very comfy! Hot tub was great! We cooked both nights and kitchen is well equipped. Overall we had a great time.

Wonderful, unique location
The home was located in beautiful location with excellent lake view. We were a little concerned if the water would be plentiful since the area has been in a drought situation. The water level was still very good. Only one small issue with the controls on the hot tub that was addressed immediately. The one aspect that we weren’t expecting was the abundant, tame deer. It was wonderful to take our walks (very safe area) among the deer. I would highly recommend this area for a low key, relaxing stay. If you like a lot of shopping and night life this place many not be for you but we were able to find good restaurants.

1st Family Getaway
Absolutely wonderful! Having multiple family members under one roof while having a family trip was great. The home was big, beatiful and offered great views of the Lake and wonderful wildlife. Will absolutely enjoy it again

Best Vacation Ever!
This property has EVERYTHING you could possibly need! My husband and I stayed here with a group of friends when we flew in town for a wedding. It was great having a space to catch up with everyone and enjoying the provided activities together. We will definitely be back in the future!

Awesome House!!!
Parents! This house is amazing for young and older kids. The game room/theatre room was a huge PLUS! Plenty of space for a big family. The water level was low this year so it was a challenge getting to the Lake but overall A+ We will be back!

Great find for families
We wanted a stay with a view and got that! It was gorgeous! Deer were literally everywhere. The kids loved the game room and movie room! We all loved the huge hot tub and now all want one. We rented a boat for a few hours, tubed, and had a great boat ride. We ate dinner in New Braunfels 30 minutes down the road at Cody’s, highly recommend. We had quick correspondence with the management when needed. My one gripe is the master bedroom’s fan is missing the cord so unable to change speeds. It is stuck on low and we are used to sleeping on high, not a deal breaker. The water was beautiful, but it was not accessible from the property because the water level is down by 12 feet, crazy! We were still able to enjoy the water

Annual girls trip
The house was very nice and the view is spectacular! A couple of things need to be worked on.... We had to buy more toilet paper and paper towels and the downstairs needed to be maybe cleaned a little better, cobweb's and definitely spiders. But I do want to give a special thank you to Jennifer at the management company!!! We had a couple of issue's and she was amazing to get them worked out. This was our 5th annual vrbo home and we had an amazing time!!

Girls trip
Four of my dear college friends met up for a reunion. It had been a very long time since we’d seen each other and this house was perfect for us to reconnect and relax next to a beautiful lake. The house was clean and comfortable, had plenty of room and even a hot-tub! The view from the deck was stunning and the house had everything we needed. Plus there were deer everywhere! Highly recommend. We will be back, for sure.

Ladies Weekend of Fun and Activities
The house has a great layout, and plenty of bedrooms for us. We had 7 Ladies on our trip, and we were all satisfied. The only negative anyone had was that the cleaning crew missed lots of cobwebs in the bathrooms. Overall, we had a blast on the patios watching the nature below.

We loved our stay at this location. The view of the lake is outstanding & it was the perfect size for my husband & I, our college-age kids & my Mom. The sunsets on the patio were incredible! My only complaint is that the kitchen items need to be replaced if you plan to cook, but otherwise it was perfect!!

Enjoyed making memories on this visit. Home presents perks such as 2 separate Living and Kitchen areas on different floor levels, Nice washer/dryer, gaming areas for kids, Spa was clean and ready to go. Marina within 10 minutes for Boat and jet ski rentals, Comal Park also nearby.

Great Place With A Great View
We loved staying here for our family summer vacation. The house is great with a great location looking out over the lake. We loved having access to the water which is accessible by the stairs and ladder off the back side of the house or for those of us who aren't avid rock climbers there is a path you can take to an area that allows for easier access to the water. We loved being able to sit in the hot tub in the evenings and watch the sunset. The last night we took our tubes down to the water and watched the sunset while floating in the lake, it was very cool. The other things we liked about the house was the amenities such as the movie room and the game room. It is also about 30 minutes from New Braunfels where you can float the river and spend the day at Schlitterbahn or do some shopping and dining in Gruene then go back to the house to watch some of the most beautiful sunsets you've seen.

Worth it to book!
The house was very clean and the space was perfect for our party. There was plenty of cooking supplies and having the grill was a huge plus! The views in the morning are gorgeous on the lake and it was very tranquil being there. We are very appreciative we were able to experience our trip in this house!

Pleasant Stay
We enjoyed our stay very much. The view of the lake and sunset is awesome. The house did have weird smell when we first came in. The way to get in the lake was a bit sketchy but because we are younger we managed it, however the older adults could not get down in the water. The lake and all the games kept us entertained. We didn't have to turn the tv on once. Overall we had a great time. Lake Canyon is awesome and we will definitely return.

Disappointed! Lots of stairs!!!
Kinda clean. Kitchen utensils were horrid. For a wine country experience, no wine glasses. TVs had no instruction on how to work, each one had a different combination and master bdrm didn't work at all unless you had an Amazon acct.! Good beds and comfortable. Plenty of towels and bedding. Outside decks needed to be dewebbed badly! Cushions were dirty and old, we didn't use those chairs. Daytime view off back decks could be nice if the two trees in your view were not half dead and full of moss. Over all the property was a 3! Over priced!

Quiet Ladies Weekend
We stayed here for a ladies weekend (7 of us) about a month ago. We had issues with the hot tub, but SkyRun took care of us! They were responsive via text and email, and sent an employee out on Saturday to take a look. I’d stay at a SkyRun managed home again! Thank you to the staff for their stellar customer service! House was perfect for a weekend in —movies, plenty of seating, plenty of places to sleep. We spent the majority of the time sitting outside and enjoying the views!

Everything was labeled for easy use of electronics and made locating utensils and cookware a breeze. Thurogh cleaning was lacking. Not sure if it was a prank by the previous group that stayed there, but there were partially eaten sandwiches in the drawers around the house. We threw away any we came across, but didn't go searching for them. Otherwise, the view was great and wildlife was abundant. The back stairs leading to the lake are not for the "out of shape"

Great family vacation but..
We are a family of 6 and this was our first trip to Canyon Lake. The house had a great layout, plenty of space and entertainment for the kids. However, the pictures are definitely old, the outdoor furniture is not in the same location or condition as the pictures show. The beds & bathrooms had fresh sheets and towels, and were clean but the kitchen and living areas were not. Not sure if it’s from previous guests or if the cleaning service just didn’t pay attention to detail? It’a disappointing to pay a cleaning fee, but not feel as though the property was cleaned. There were a lot of cobwebs in kitchen/living room and windows filled with dead bugs. Window ledges in the kitchen were filled with dead bugs and food particles left behind. Countertops and floors were fine, and the cabinets were organized nicely. The upper & lower deck were really nice, but the walk to the lake access was pretty treacherous. Luckily we’re active and the kids are pre-teens& teenagers so they handled the terrain like champs. I would not recommend this property for anybody with small children. Lake access via the ladder off the back cliff, is a 180degree drop and we only used that point once. The rest of the time we hiked down the recommended “trail” which was overgrown and almost just as dangerous. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and my biggest complaint really was the cobwebs with dead bugs and dirtiness of the main living areas. There were lots of deer in the neighborhood, and we got to feed some which was pretty cool!

AMAZING RETREAT!
This place was awesome! My kids immediately gravitated to the game room while I took in the gorgeous lake view and got ready to make dinner. The quality of the amenities were an impressive surprise compared to some other VRBO set-ups. We spent most of our 2 days at the house and consistently had a great time. We weren't ready to leave!

We give the rating 5 stars because we love the house, location, & the view. Cleanliness of home wasn't great. Cheeto on floor in media room from prior visitors. Couldn't get the TV in media room to work and no DVD player. The Roku TVs had to have an account to work. Lots of spider webs on all ceilings. Very dusty and food stuck on counters. Yellow jackets problem on patio. Beds were not comfortable. No extra blankets in closet. Thermostat upstairs kept resetting to lower temp. Dryer was difficult to operate. Leak under downstairs fridge. Was able to shut off the water. We are not sure if the management company or the owners are not taking care of this home. Management company did respond quickly whenever a text was sent.

GORGEOUS VIEW!
Oh my, this has been a piece of heaven. Every thing was super clean , which is a big thing for us. Especially during COVID. Everything from the theater room to the Tv to how to get to the lake had Instructions. A book of recommendations was left for us. Everything was very well organized, only had one miner setback. It was Hard to access into the lake from the lake house. And I had my 70 yr old mother with me. Wish they can detail better the accommodations on VRBO. An amazing view at night!! Thank you.

Needs TLC and the two queen beds replaced
Many negatives and some positive's. Needs deep dusting of walls, ceilings, fans to remove dirt, cobwebs and dust bunnies. Upstairs queen bed non usable for adults (old and soft/lumpy). Lower floor queen bed newer but very soft. Air filter very dirty. Fire extinguisher not operatable. Wasp nest on deck needs permanent treatment (don't leave can of spray for each renter to handle). Refrigerator icemaker not operating, we were told it was an almost new refrigerator. Sky Run always answers their phone and sent maintenance when a sink problem occurred. The ping pong balls were mostly cracked. Positive - incredible sunsets and the Hot Tub which holds 7-8. Kids 9, 10 and 17 had no problem getting down the lake ladder as well as an active 70 year old. No sand, lake butts right up to big bolders but we tethered a floating pad. Also, this is not a newer or particularly nice neighborhood but we could park a 21 foot boat.

We wish we would’ve known about any other items that caused you any concern, so we could've assisted with those, as well. We happily would've let you know that there is always a can of wasp spray under the kitchen sink. Sometimes those buggers hide in the eaves, so we do want guests prepared. We do realize that bed comfort is very subjective between guests, depending on what they prefer. What is extremely comfortable for one guest isn't quite as much for another. We hope that you were able to retrieve ice from the 2nd refrigerator/freezer this home provides. We change out AC filters regularly and we're ramping up for our deep clean very soon. This house is very busy and very popular among vacationers! Thank you for your compliments of our customer service, and we do hope you enjoyed your stay!

Fabulous family vacay
House was perfect for the whole family. Kids and grandkids loved the media room, which included video games, and the game room with ping pong. The only downside was the access to the lake. When originally booked, would not have gone swimming, but had to reschedule, and they were very accommodating. A wonderful time was had by all! Would definitely rent again. 6/2020

Perfect accommodations but didn’t sleep well
We had a wonderful time! Perfect accommodations for our whole family. Plenty of beds but they were all super soft and worn. Even the couch cushions were worn and when you sat down you sank into the couches. Loved the balconies, the view, and the huge dining table that all 12 of us could sit at for meals. Wonderful memories! Thank you for preparing everything for us and the good communication before and after.

Girl’s Weekend
This gorgeous home had everything we needed for my sisters and nieces. The lake view was amazing during the days and fireplace at night was cozy and warm. We will definitely go back again.

Great house, great experience.
The house was fantastic. It met and exceeded our needs for a family wedding hangout. The rental process was simple and communication clear and effective. We had one issue after leaving that was handled quickly and effectively. Very easy to work with Sky Run
