I asked to check in early around 1:30. Our room wasn’t ready so they took my number and said they’d call when my room was ready. After checking back at 3:30 and it still wasn’t ready and no phone call I waited until 5:30. The front desk was short staffed and the girl behind the desk looked at me and was embarrassed. They never called and check in was at 4. I wasn’t impressed. At 5:30 of course it was ready but the line was down the hall. Zero help. Bartender was super friendly and accommodating tho. Room was nice and clean.

We chose to stay here before our cruise . We had previously stayed at another hotel close to this area and unfortunately were let down by this one . The bathtub would not drain . The pull out couch was broken and uncomfortable . The toilet would not flush . Overall , really disappointed

Great place to stay if traveling in carnival cruise line. There are a few restaurants and bars you can walk to. The walk is pleasant and safe. Residence inn also has a great breakfast buffet.

I was surprised by the condition of the hotel; the high rating was off. I had an associate with me, and we both felt that the rooms were dirty, also it was the little things like coffee, condiments etc. Not at all what you would expect from Marriott. Even the door to the room was broken. If you have children, on vacation and not planning on spending much time in the hotel this might work.

Room was spacious. Asked for a roll away bed it never came. Staff was super friendly. You have to pay for parking even if you are a guest. It is not included in price. The grounds were nice. Walkable to restaurant. Did not enjoy food at the Italian restaurant near by.

I love how close it is to the ports and the staff was very warm and friendly. Breakfast was mediocre. The place looks old and needs some updating.

It was a decent hotel. I’m not happy that we paid $267 a night and then have to pay $10 plus tax to park. But I’m annoyed that they didn’t even tell me about it at check in/out and I didn’t learn about it until I got the email receipt.

This was a great place for our family to stay. The rooms are spacious and it was great having extra room with the living area and kitchenette. Perfect location for cruising and they have transportation to the port available.

Check in disaster
The hotel overall was fine it’s the check in process that was a disaster. I asked them for early check in so they couldn’t accommodate that’s fine. So when 4 o’clock came and they tell us the rooms are still not ready and that it could take till 8pm. I was livid we had been in the car for over 12 hours. We didn’t get in our room till after 5:30 pm. Not acceptable!!
