“Fife and Drum is a wonderful place to stay in Williamsburg. The location is amazing because you can walk to the museums and restaurants. Check in and parking are very easy. The place itself is charming and they always have drinks and snacks available in their quaint dining area, as well as delicious breakfast options. We stayed in the Restoration room, which has somewhat odd decor, but on theme for the area. The only negative for me was the bed. The mattress was too hard for my back and it made……

“It was a nice place overall, we booked a king size room but when they gave me they keys they didn't work. They then put me in a double queen room which honestly was probably better for the fact they only give you 3 pillows per bed even the kings so my wife and I actually got 3 a piece so that was nice. I loved the fact the rooms all have a old screen door and a bench outside of the room. The bathroom definitely could have used some improvements, my shower didn't have a shower rod it was in……

“Check in staff during the evening was great. Staff in the morning was rude. Not bed bugs but other bugs like moths and spiders in room and bed. Bathroom shower was not clean and neither were some of the blankets on the beds. Not sure if it was tbe humidity but with the AC blasting it still was hot and humid inside the room and smelled like pee :(. Breakfast was fine and appreciated.”
