Enjoy our Captiva Island vacation home in luxury. After sustaining damage in Hurricane Ian, we took the last two years to completely rebuild our island home, adding even more amenities.

Boasting an expansive floor plan with 4 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms that sleeps 14, Gearing Down is a desirable bayside home. Witness breathtaking sunrises from the covered lanai overlooking the private dock. Enjoy the peaceful serenity swept in by the cool gulf breeze in the private pool or hot tub.

On the first living level you’ll find a STUNNING BRAND NEW kitchen complete with bar/icemaker and island style seating at the center island and lounge chairs overlooking the bay. Additional new features include a whole house SONOS sound system, TVs in all bed rooms, conveniently located HDMI port in bunk room for game consoles. Pool with automation and spa control. New Grilling area next to pool. Brand new outdoor shower with hot and cold to wash off the salt and sand!

Everything from flooring to bath fixtures is brand new. This 7 figure renovation covers all the bases from decorative ceilings to a new fishing station on the spacious dock. The fishing is fantastic! Snook, Grouper, Trout, redfish right off the dock!

Gearing Down is centrally located to the Village of Captiva. The island’s restaurants, rental stores and retail shops are all within walking distance. A short walk through the village takes you to the beach where you can experience the postcard-worthy Captiva Island sunsets. Golf cart and bike rentals available.
