All the staff were so friendly. The bar staff especially Phil were excellent. We were there for an 80th birthday. My wife lost a bracelet we asked at reception in the morning and the lovely lady on reception said she would look inn the safe... unfortunately nothing. We went to look in the room where the party was held but it had already been cleaned. A lovely young lady named Erin asked could she help, we explained what had happened and she said that a bracelet had been found and had been put into one of the bottle bags that Alan had received for his birthday. We told the lady on reception this, she then phoned Alan for us and he said he was aware of the bracelet and would return it next time we meet. Absolutely brilliant place.

The hotel has been refurbished since the last time I stayed. The rooms are clean, tidy and well equipped. The staff are very helpful and friendly, particularly the young man who checked us in. The only downside for me was paying for parking. As a resident I think parking should have been free. That said I had an excellent stay and would not hesitate to stay again nor recommend to friends.
