“The ocean was visible from our room. The snorkeling trip Iberostar offered was great. The divers also had a great time with clear visibility; the staff was fabulous! We highly enjoyed the jacuzzi! ”

“My niece stayed at Joia in March 2026 and it did not disappoint. We were greeted with wash clothes to wipe our hands and was then given a yummy drink that had ginger in it. The lobby was beautiful. Kayla was warm and inviting when she checked us in. She told us, we were upgraded to a swim up room due to my Expedia status. The bellman was so nice that escorted us to our room. He explained all the room's features. The room was really high-tech. You didn't have to put out a sign that said you……

“Staff in restaurant were a bit stuck-up and were not very friendly. The rest of the staff was pretty friendly in the hotel. The people in the bar also need to improve on their social skills and treat guess nicer. Many times you would go to the bar and they wouldn't even greet you. They would just say "what do you want drink", no smile or greeting or I'll be right with you or anything like that. Needs a lot of improvement in this area.”
