This unit (2bd/2bath, 5 guests, 3 beds) is on the Second floor with beautiful ocean view. Located just steps away from the Carlsbad State Beach. Enjoy the breathtaking sunset views from your room. Just minutes away from most things such as restaurant, Bar, cafe shop, convenience store etc.

Beautiful property. Crosswalk right to beach! Family oriented. We will come back again. Clean, safe and all rhe amenities needed. We were able to cook Thanksgiving dinner, needed nothing. Thank you!

My family ventured to Carlsbad for the first time this fall and this location couldn’t be better. Just a couple hundred yards away from Carlsbad State Beach and just minutes away from Carlsbad Village. This location provides covered, included, parking; big plus for us. I wasn’t sure about an upper level unit but found it was more private than a lower level unit as we left our windows and doors open with no one able to look in as they walked by. There was a bit of noise most of the day into the night but you have to remember you’re on a Blvd. I’ll take the noise because of our proximity to the beach, village and the included parking.Although I gave a rating of 4/5 star, I would stay here again. I mentioned a few things to the owner that I think would enhance the experience of their property( i.e. upgrading cooking utensils, pans and main bedroom bed, tidiness)All in all, it was spacious, lots of cabinets for storage and super close to the beach, shops and eateries.

On the plus side, the location is awesome and the beach gear to use is plentiful. One of the downsides is no washer & dryer, which was a challenge with three teenagers. The major problem is when we checked in there was a very strong odor in the unit, which arose from someone leaving a gas burner on the range partially on. It took a couple hours leaving the windows and door open to clear it out. When we notified the owner, his reply was..."It is because the burner always keeping on. Don't worry. It is safety". That wasn't very reassuring, although the burner never acted up again. They need to make sure that burner is not faulty!

Recommended stay

Took our daughter and best friend. Perfect 2 room 2 bath apartment style place. Beach is across the street, eating and shopping is half a mile walk away. Easy access to the highways. We went to the Safari Park and Children’s pool with no issues. Place was clean and exactly as advertised. Jason was very responsive to any emails I sent. I will recommend to any friends visiting the area

Good times for all

Loved the location and convenience of the property. The stairs were steep for me since I have a bad hip but I managed. It was hard to tell in the picture. We were missing a few items like the coffee and the Welcome package but overall we had a great time and I would return again!

This property was just as described. It was clean and nicely decorated. Literally steps from the beach. Maybe the bed need replacing but not the worst I've slept in. Pretty quiet neighborhood when we were there and we walked to everything. Great time.

Beach getaway

We had a great weekend. The place was clean, beds were comfortable and location was perfect. There isn't a direct view of the beach from the front of this unit, but it didn't impact the stay. So nice to walk across the street and have your coffee at the beach. And our kids were in the water as the sun was coming up and there when the sun was going down. And lots of time in between. Easy to go back to the condo if you forgot something or needed a break. Had a storage unit with beach supplies that could be used - beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. Also a very short walk to the Village and restaurants. Loved parking the car when we arrived and leaving it put for the weekend. Manager was responsive to any questions. Everything we were looking for to finish out our summer travels!

Fantastic Location

This was a great property and fantastic location. There is an ocean view, though it is very limited out one window. If you want to enjoy the ocean from inside your space, the units on the Carlsbad Blvd side would be better, though I would guess they are bigger and more costly. Once I realized I could not sit and admire the beauty of the ocean from inside the room, I moved on to enjoy the ease of getting to the beach across the street and the ease of getting to shops and restaurants within walking distance. We loved having everything so close! Would stay again!
