"The location of the condo was nice - right at Carlsbad Beach. However, it is not a private beach as stated in the listing, but a public beach that was quite crowded. The condo was clean but it is quite dated. Many of the pots and pans were old and scratched, there was an oven pan that was so caked with previous residual from whatever was baked on it, it was unusable. One bedroom faces the ocean and you have the ocean sounds at night, but the second bedroom faces the street and it was so loud at night, my son had difficulty sleeping. The hosts were responsive - we had an issue with parking and they cleared it up quickly. "

We enjoyed the easy walk to the lagoon to snorkel, and enjoyed stopping to admire the beautiful flowers. The hosts were very nice and very quick with communication. We hope to be back someday!"
