Low shower/water pressure, non working hot tub
The unit was nice but the complex is poorly run. The shower had very low water pressure and only had hot water no cold making it tricky to take a shower. We informed the owner that the hot tub did not work. The temperature was mid 80s and the jets did not work. The owner said she would contact the HOA to have them look into it. It was not fixed during our stay and no one contacted us as to why. The unit was well stocked which is nice to have the basics like salt, pepper, coffee etc. it also had some dry good but we did not use them. The kayaks are not usable without life jackets. Overall I don’t think we will be back to this complex

Forgotten Coast Trip to Remember
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Bluewater Breeze in Carrabelle. It is the perfect vacation home in a perfect vacation location. We marveled at how central we were to everything. We would go a little ways East or West and find so much to do and see. Beaches, shops, restaurants, hiking trails. And the town itself took care of all our needs. The condo was perfect for us - comfy bed, well equipped kitchen, screened in lanai. We were so happy to be guests here.

Nice place for a fishing getaway
Some of the spaces are a bit tight (especially the bathrooms), and there are quite a few stairs - but this is pretty normal for the houses along the river from what I have seen. Overall it was a comfortable place to stay, and the dock was convenient.

Too Many Steps
While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we didn’t realize there were 4 flights of steps. We are older and one has bad knees so won’t return. Also description as on the water is true if you have a boat. Nowhere to go sit on the water as we thought. Tried to contact owners once as we forgot code and no response but luckily we found it. If we were much younger I would stay here again.

Very nice!
House was just ss described. Nice pool area. There are lots of stairs! Quiet time starts at 8pm which means the pool & hot tub close then too. Beware of the neighbors who live next door they do not like any noise after 8pm they called the cops on other guests in another condo for being to loud (the cops told them they were not breaking the law). We had 5 other families that rented condos here too and the quiet time at 8 made it a little difficult especially for our kids who like to play together.

Great Winter Getaway!

Carrabelle is a great little town and the condo was close to everything!
The owners have added a lot of extra little touches like free coffee and snacks, the bed slept very well, the property is very quiet but the parking space is extremely tight and be prepared for lots and lots of stairs! We had a blast!

Great Place for a Getaway
Perfect location for a relaxing vacation. Great fishing nearby, beaches, hiking and a number of really good seafood restaurants in the area. A notebook on the coffee table provided all sorts of good local information.The property was located off the beaten path and perfectly appointed. We'll be back!

Great for Family & Lots of Thoughtful Touches!
This has to be the most well-stocked place we have stayed with thoughtful hospitable touches, including a lovely welcome basket! It was kid friendly with board games, a great view of the pool/hot tub and an easy walk to the boat dock for kayaking. We also enjoyed the restaurant that's on site-quick and friendly service and the food was good too with something for everyone. We enjoyed a short drive to St. George State Park-we had the beautiful beach almost all to ourselves! We hope to make it back someday as this has to be one of our favorite Florida vacations yet!

What a nice trip! We didn’t get in until midnight and didn’t have a chance to shop so it was extremely nice to have coffee and tea provided! There were also a few staples in the cupboard in case we needed them! The condo set up was perfect for 4 adults. The pool and hot tub were great for those of us escaping winter in PA! We’d love to come back!

A Great Winter Escape

Great Getaway in Carrabelle
We stayed here for a short 4-day get away trip from Colorado and it was perfect. Nice closed in porch, with a clean and functional condo above. We even sat beside the pool one morning while we had our coffee. The bed was super comfortable! In the off-season, there are not many local restaurants open, so we went to Apalachicola and Eastpoint. For the best food, go to The Owl Cafe in Apalachicola. After you eat, stop by the Apalachicola Chocolate & Coffee Company a couple blocks away. Handmade gelato, chocolates, Turkish delight, and cinnamon rolls. Beautiful, fun area to explore!

Great Get Away
We enjoy staying on Florida's Forgotten Coast because it lacks the crowds of Pensacola-Deatin-Panama City. It also has two of the best beaches in Florida with Cape San Blas and St. George Island in close proximity. We also love Wakulla Springs State Park and Carabelle and this property is right in the middle of all of it. The unit wqs cleaned and well appointed with amenities. The owners could not have been better to deal with. We ejoyed our stay and would higjly recommend this property to just about anyone. If youbhave challenges with stairs, this is not the property for you. If not its all good!

They have everything you need!
We loved staying at the Bluewater Breeze and wish we had booked it longer! This is a spacious condo, designed and decorated beautifully with care and compassion for the visitor. They have everything you can think of to make your trip feel like home- tons of linens, cooking supplies, extra toiletries, water toys and inflatables, a kyack, etc. The property is secure and I felt very safe there with my children. The property owners had the best suggestions for activities in Carrabelle and even recommended some fishing spots we hope to check out next time! The pool and spa were a nice bonus for us! Would absolutely stay here again. My Mother and kids agree!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was clean and had several things we didn’t expect. Coffee supplied was great and machine was easy to use. It was nice to have the pool toys and a hose to clean them off. Pool was never crowded and the neighbors were nice and quiet. Looking back at the listing I see that it is multiple stories but it there are 3 flights of stairs to get to the top level. It worked out for us but was hard on my sister’s knees so I did most of the up and down. Have to go up 2 flights just to get to the living room/kitchen with a pull out couch. She slept there for our stay. Just be aware if you have any health issues. It was really clean and beds were super comfortable. Internet and TV worked really fast. We did have an outage for a few hours but that was the cable company’s fault. Owners were very quick to respond to the couple of questions I had. We loved that it wasn’t all busy in town but they mean it when they say everything shuts down at 9. However you can drive about 20-30 minutes if you really need something. We loved it and may stay again.

Perfect for a laid back spring weekend on the Forgotten Coast
The Bluewater Breeze and the sleepy town of Carrabelle were just what we needed for a quiet, relaxing, low key weekend in early March. The condo is spotless, cute, and comfortable. We loved the fenced-in porch for playing games. While we couldn't see the river from the condo, it only took a few seconds to walk to the pier each morning for sunrise. The only trouble we had was with the wifi, which was a little unpredictable, but rebooting the router usually did the trick. If you like hiking, I'd recommend the eight mile RT section of the Florida Trail along the Sopchoppy River. We enjoyed great seafood and waterfront dining at the Up the Creek Raw Bar in Apalachicola and the Blue Parrot on St. George Island. When I travel I usually make a mental note of places that would be handicap accessible for members of my family. If that's a concern for you, then navigating the multiple sets of steps probably rules out the Bluewater Breeze. If not, I thoroughly recommend the condo, and the area. Driving along the coast you'll see old Florida and a view unobstructed by development. We would love to go back when the weather's a little warmer to check out some of the kayaking and nature preserves in the area.

Owners were fantastic! Allowed us to change our reservation during the whole Covid scare wi Trg out penalty. We will be forever grateful for that & they’ll get nothing but 5 star rating from us!!! Place is very inviting. Loved the decor! Be prepared for some steps since it is 3 stories. Walked to restaurant. Quiet area not far from St. George Island. Loved it! Would be great for young family!

My husband bought a new boat that he wanted to try out for the first time. We rented this unit to be near the water so our family could spend a few days playing with the new toy. Our family of 5 LOVED our stay at Bluewater Breeze! The space was absolutely adorable. We kept exclaiming, "look at this!" It was bright and cheery and everything we could need was provided. Our kids' favorite though had to be the kayak and paddleboard. So fun!
