While we were there we met with the owner and his wife on the patio and heard all about their future plane to make their place even better. We were ot there for over an hour just interacting with them, they are very socialable. All the staff we met were extremely anxious to help in any way they could.

Staff were friendly & helpful. Parking was a challenge. Website showed a cabinet with travel items in lobby, but it was no longer there. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Flooring was warped. Restaurant breakfast was outstanding, but out of milk and orange juice. Overall, we enjoyed our two-night stay because of the location. I really want to emphasize how amazing the staff are. If you're visiting Virginia City, I highly recommend this hotel, but do not expect much...just enjoy the view.

Both mornings I came out before the sun was up by an hour and you have to come out the middle door out front and there was no light on anywhere absolute total safety violation – secondly seems like Minet that you can’t even get a cup of coffee there and they got a restaurant that seems never to be open

Within walking distance of town, but there were no amenities. Had to pay for coffee and water. Restaurant was not open and while clean, the furniture was decidedly banged up and aged. That said, we went for price and got what we paid for - a place to lay our heads that was close to town.
