“Amazing hotel that had all the details down cold”

“I had a fantastic stay at La Casa Juan Ranas. It was mid October so the weather was still warm and the local area was vibrant. The view from my suite’s terrace, was truly breathtaking - the best view of Alhambra! It was memorable having breakfast on my terrace and seeing the whole of Granada sprawling beneath the palace. The staff and hotel owner were great and made sure no request was too much - they were really friendly and helpful, arranging trips to the Alhambra. The food in the hotel……

“Wir hatten ein Standard-Doppelzimmer. Das Zimmer war klein, aber ausreichend. Es lag zur Straße, eine Hauptverkehrsstraße, dadurch wurde es sehr laut, wenn das Fenster geöffnet wurde. Es lag zwar im 12-ten Stock, trotzdem war der Verkehrslärm mehr als hörbar. Das Bad war sehr klein und in der Dusche waren die Armaturen teilweise defekt. Das Personal an der Rezeption und die die Reinigungskräfte waren hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Personal im Service, Frühstück und im Restaurant waren teilweise……

“breakfast is very limited. No sound insulation. can hear human talking very clear from street, corridor, etc. cannot sleep well. ”

“The way up by car is not for the faint hearted. Read the instructions clearly or you may come across serious problems. Once you get there, the parking is great. Hotel has an excellent location, and you can basically walk everywhere around the old part of town. Walking to Alhambra is doable but we took the bus and we were glad we did. Reception lady is very helpful and accommodating. Rooms are spotless with thick, fresh towels in the bathrooms. Great experience overall.”

“Beautiful hotel in a central location, so close to the cathedral. The service from all staff is fantastic. The rooftop view of the Alhambra is lovely. Would definitely stay again in Granada!”

“We had a very lovely stay. The apartment was very clean and tastefully designed- loved the space and the interiors. Even though it is located in a very central location, the soundproofing was done very well and we can't really hear the outside world once the windows were shut. Also management was very quick to respond and remote check-in was done super smoothly. Very comfortable and lovely stay and we highly recommend this charming apartment!”

“clean room, great AC, amazing location for walking, parking was convenient but also a bit scary to get to (legally driving on pedestrian roads is spooky, but they do clearly note and direct you on it so that’s good), if you are planning on taking your car in and out during your stay, maybe seek outside parking. beautiful place with very kind staff, will 100% book again if i’m ever in the area!”

“The hotel is tucked away between a main street and a nice busy back street but it’s so quiet inside and lovely. The hotel and room are spotless and there are many shopping and food options in a short walking distance. We extended our stay due to an issue with transport and Narly was more than happy to help us out. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Granada.”

“As located in the area of attractions, we could easily go anywhere from the hotel within a few minutes. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a precious old building. The staffs are nice. “This place is really about the view to the Alhambra which was superb! The room was big. The bed was “okay”, but the fitted sheet didn’t fit very well and in the middle of the night they kept coming off… we had to get up and try to put them back on. The proprietor gave us very good directions on where to be dropped off by the taxi. It is a walk down stairs so definitely be sure to bring luggage that can be rolled along a rocky/aggregate terrain.
