Everything was good the only complaint I have is that you have to be careful about the room cards, I had to replace mine 6 times because they kept getting ruined from being to close to my phone

This motel was an excellent value. The woman who checked us in was absolutely delightful. There is a restaurant within walking distance and a little mini market across the street. The motel is only a short distance from Cove Lake State Park which has wonderful hiking trails.

The friendly staff makes all the difference.
This was a trip to meet up with our family. Us being from Illinois and them from south Carolina, it was around half the distance. Having stayed here before, the woman at the front desk is so welcoming, we felt so welcome. Like home.

This town is filthy dirty. There is garbage everywhere. The hotel is old and run down. The room was fairly clean except for the rugs.I travel with service animals and the front desk staff asked to see my paperwork. I did show them my paperwork, however, it is against federal ADA laws and state law for them to ask for it

Remote for TV not adequate channel listing/guide. Seems like a mismatch for room 207 TV. Humming A/C needs some maintenance. Toilet base was not secure; rocks back and forth! Noisy traffic on road less than 50 ft away. Need soundproofing throughout all rooms in rooms on roadside.

Intially, when checking in i was given the key card to room that already had occupants. After returning to the front desk i was given a room in the top corner which was further from parking. The receptionist did appologize and immediately began blaming her coworkers instead of just appologizing. While the pricing was fair, i will pay more to stay elsewhere next time. The room was also advertized as on a lake but is actually near a lake, a couple miles down the road. The clenliness of the room and the other staff i encountered was average.

There was a roach on the wall, the beds were old school coil spring mattresses. The face cloths had very dark stains on them. Bedding had multiple stains and burn holes. The dog park is a joke. Only positive thing was that the person who checked us in was very pleasant.

The customer service guy at the front desk was extremely rude. Refused to help me with anything I’ve accidentally booked for the wrong night was in a pinch and needed a place to go for the evening. Mind you it’s 1 o’clock in the morning so that night I booked for with the very next night was $35 plus tax I ended up getting charged $79 plus tax. He refused to honor anything it was pouring rain very rude not a nice man.

Stayed 3 nights for sons bike race at wind rock. Room was simple but looked new. Clean no smells. We will stay here again next time we visit wind rock bike park. Jacks restaurant next door was a bonus.
