We loved the access to the beach and the house had plenty of toys left for kids to play with. We also loved the pool area and once we got through to get the pool heated, it was perfect swimming conditions.

Great house but paid more than 800 for pool heat for 4 days and never heated up. Beautiful media room but instructions on how to use the TV would have been helpful. Very well stocked and great location. Hopefully a heated pool monies will be refunded.

The location and pool make this house a great rental. This was the second time we rented the home for 10 days and we could really tell a difference this time. Money needs to be spent upgrading the appliances, televisions, and general maintenance. With some investment this home could be something special. Just needs a lot of love and attention to bring it back to life.

The property is amazing. The views could not possibly be better and the beach access is perfect. Parking is misrepresented, we had to rent an expensive van because only two vehicles were allowed to park and I was made to believe (called) that this was a neighborhood covenant. Far from it, two houses down there was an RV parked in the driveway. If the house is large enough to sleep 12, surely you need to allow for families to bring their cars. Also, no access to any decent television in the main family room. Unable to even use your own apps. Woodpeckers were fun. With all of this, the family felt it was one of the best vacation getaways so far.

Our stay at Casa de la Mar on Casey Key was the perfect family retreat. The home was spectacular and large enough for the 10 of us. The view from the front 2 balconies was incredible where we could sit and enjoy our morning coffee while watching the dolphins play or view the gorgeous sunsets at dusk with a relaxing cocktail. The pool and hot tub was perfect for the kids and there was a pretty view out the back of the bay as well. The kitchen was grand with two sinks and 2 dishwashers so there was never too many cooks tripping over ourselves when preparing big family meals. An added bonus was the home theatre room with a kitchen for drinks and snacks while watching movies. We had one issue at the house that was resolved by the local staff, Crystal, who went above and beyond making things right for us! We hope Vacasa appreciates her as much as we did during our stay. Various things need a lot of updates whether it’s furniture (most is old), the outside couch is old, the pool is clean but needs to just have the heater included (charging extra is unacceptable), the stools in front don’t have cushions, neither do the outside patio chairs, several lights were not working, and overall this house disappointed this year. The construction next door was snuck in to the listing AFTER I booked so I was not aware I’d be dealing with that. Vacasa should have been up front about that much sooner, but instead just seemed like they wanted the money. This house needs improvements, and I was very disappointed compared to last year.

We had a group of 9 friends staying here and had a great time. Plenty of room for everyone and having a bathroom per bedroom was a plus. The convenience of the beach was great and the pool was central to a lot of our time together. As others have noted, the construction next door was ongoing but we tuned it out after a bit - they seemed to work 7a-3p daily. There were more/better accommodations than expected based on the description - they supplied all the towels (including beach towels), toilet paper, and other household needs. Each room did have a Roku, which was nice! There are some issues in the household maintenance wise - some lights didn’t work, a fan didn’t run in one of the rooms, and the twin bed room has incredibly rickety beds - almost like a sea saw. Overall, a good stay with many places to congregate and enjoy time together!

The property is in a desirable location. The frustration we had is from the Sunday we checked in, we found out that during March Madness that the TV’s cable wasn’t working to the next morning going out side and realizing their were no cushions for the outdoor furniture and that the fireplace didn’t work. Then we bought food to grill that Monday night to put on outdoor grill and it didn’t work. During this time we contacted by text and phone the Vacasa representatives several times and nothing at the property ever got fixed in our week stay. I asked to speak to a manager and was told they would call me and I never received a phone call. For a property like this you expect what you’re promised. VRBO and Vacasa failed to delivered.

Our stay here was great! The views were unbeatable and the pool was so fun! We loved not having to pack all the kids up and hull them to the beach and then we came back home to splash in the pool. The property is in excellent shape and well designed for a relaxing stay: spa, pool and beach. The kitchen was a joy to cook in, the bedrooms ample (ensuite bathrooms were great to have) and the furnishings throughout the house were well appointed. Plenty of common areas for the larger family - we never felt crowded. The views out the back over the bay and front over the ocean are spectacular.
