A Friends Week to Remember in Val d'Orcia
We (a group of eight friends) shared the most amazing week at BelSentiero. This fabulous villa offers absolutely stunning views of the Val d’Orcia. The bedrooms are bright and airy with luxurious linens, and the ensuite bathrooms are spacious and modern. The infinity pool is spectacular and comes with expansive outdoor seating and comfortable gathering areas. The kitchen was ideally equipped, including a professional espresso machine. The breakfasts were filling and varied, and the fabulous Renzo prepared two evening meals for us—one a traditional meal of local foods, and the other a barbeque with tasty side dishes. Jan, our gracious host, was available every morning to help inform our plans, recommend restaurants, and provide a wealth of suggestions and information. Our friends group enjoy biking around through the five villages, wine-tasting at a local winery to which we walked, wandering the nearby village and climbing the medieval bell tower, cooking leisurely meals together and enjoying day trips to Mont Amiata, Pienza, Montalcino, Siena and more. Thanks, Jan, for helping us create a week of memories we will long remember!
