“The shower head was the best!! The deck and chairs was really nice. Sliding glass door had a chain security on it so we could have the door open slightly to enjoy the lake breeze. Older hotel that has been updated without precision.”

“We knew it would be a good stay after being in the office for 30 seconds. This is truly a small mom&pop motel, the owner was very helpful and inviting while we checked in. You could tell she cared about the property. She even informed us they do a small campfire with smores in the evening. We sat around and had a few drinks with other guests and it creates an awesome atmosphere. As far as the room, for an honest review they are small. What they lack in size is made up for with quality. “The room had a terrible musty odor and had cobwebs and dead bugs on the ceiling and in the corners. The carpet needed to be vacuumed. The tile floor in the bathroom had dirty grout and big gaps of missing grout. The midges were able to get in the room between the patio doors. Luckily I had some duct tape in my car and I was able to tape around the door frame to help keep them out. The balcony and patio screen door were covered with dead bugs which made looking out at the lake disgusting.……

“Affordable last minute holiday weekend fast check in with fresh n clean linens along with super white towels and on the beach of Lake Huron...money well spent...oh Yeah!!!”

“You get what you pay for. There was a crack and water stains on the ceiling of my room. The furniture was run down. ”

“Not clean enough for families”

“We stayed two nights. Check in, check out was good. Room was comfortable. We like to leave the bathroom light on at night as a night light but the light was tied into a noisy fan. Overall this seems to be a nice place to stay. We happened to pick the wrong weekend. There was a major car show and the hotel was packed with hot rods, muscle cars, etc, that we nice to look at but not fun at 2, 3, and 4 in the morning when they competed for two nights to see how loud they could be. “Booked a ground floor room because husband is disabled. Most times a ground floor room is fine, but this absolutely wasn't. Steps to get in & once in the room was disgusting, moldy curtains & the bathroom was insane. Short toilet, weird shower. The management did switch us to a handicap room, which was only remotely better. They had a riser on the toilet so not child height like the other room, but the tub!!!! While they did have grab bars it is close to 3 feet tall! Once you step in it is……

“There was never any facility available!? When we arrived via GPS, could not contact anyone or see any evidence of a room and/or cabin for us to stay in? Phone posted on a door was not in service.”
