「All our expectations were exceeded in Hotel Orazio. The building itself is historic and has been carefully restored; the breakfast room alone is worth the visit, and the breakfast was generout. Staff were warm and welcoming and happy to share the rich history of the place with us. Our room was great, opening on to a loggia. Everything was spotlessly clean. 」

「This hotel was booked mainly on price but after booking in, we decided to stay for the week. Potenza is a lovely little town with all kinds of bars and restaurants where you will meet interesting, friendly people. I would post photos but they say they are too big. 「Hotel is in a good location walkable to the historic centre but the road in is winding and the GPS may need to be ignored for some turns. 「in 44 years of traveling around the world this was the worse and demeaning Hotel experience ever had( payment was made in advance BTW )! i cannot say anything about the accommodations because i never made it in!!! After an exhausting and temultuous trip to Potenza , my only concern was checking in , resting down my heavy luggage and preparing etc etc! however when i approached the door and tried to enter , there was no response or answer, i also tried to call a dozen times to no response!
