“We enjoyed our stay, it was a fun and historical place with all of its artwork and antiques, very interesting. The bed was very comfortable. There is no breakfast and no restaurant.”

“What a great little spot. The hotel was very historic the bar and gril good. Had fun playing pool with a couple of local woman - so welcoming and friendly. Will definitely go back. If you are there, you must check out the rock art around town. Very impressive”

“My experience with your hotel was not a great one. I had made the reservation the morning of the 26th but due to a mechanical failure on my motorcycle which left us stranded in the mountains for 4 to 5 hours, I cancelled as soon as I could. Now you are charging me for the full price of that room. I think that is a bit unfair. Nelson never had a repair shop that fixed motorcycles so I had to have my bike towed elsewhere. Towing it elsewhere, I had to book a different hotel room in a different……

“The room was clean enough, the hot water was either extremely hot or only warm ish. Our tub also did not plug. The staff wasn’t very cheery, and when we went to check out there wasn’t anyone there. Fine enough for a run of the mill hotel. Also the restaurant hours aren’t great, I wouldn’t plan to eat there”

“Be aware! We were charged for 2 nights we didn't stay at the place (had to cancell booking due to the family emergency) The temperature in the room +30 degrees, no AC, no fridge either, Tiny room (servants room), shoes have to be taken off at the front desk! Just lovely!”

The mattress was the worse thing i’ve EVER slept on, you’ll never fall out of bed cause you just keep rolling back into the middle!! you have to go into the pub to find the front desk person! The whole place smells like wet dog and kitty litter!”

“The hotel was safe. However, I did not like the fact that the toilet and washroom are separated from our room. Also we were not given either soap or shower sponges. I did not sleep well during the two nights we spent there because there was a heavy noise from an air conditioner coming to our room and people in the neighbouring house were noisy and chatty.”
