Castleknock Hotel with Pool

"I arrived after a late flight and there were four people at the reception desk. None of them acknowledge me until I finally got one of them to notice me. He seemed irritated to even have to look up my name and then took a phone call in the middle and just laid my key on the counter, pointing into the elevators. There is no conversation about what was available or when breakfast might be. The lobby was very loud because it was right by the bar. The room was hot when I got to it and I opened a window. Thank goodness it was cool outside because there was no thermostat anywhere to be found in the room. There were no directions for anything in the room, including the remote controls. I tried turning on the TV and could not make it work. I was not gonna go back down to the reception desk and ask anything because of the way that I was treated when I came in. "

"The staff was wonderful and very welcoming and I was checked in way earlier than my 3pm check in time slot. The hotel is located in a very nice neighborhood and close enough to the city center and the Dublin must see sites!! Highly recommended!!!"

"Location was great. Most area attractions within walking distance. Great value compared to other hotels in the city. Room was a nice size a very clean. We did eat dinner at the restaurant and it is was very good and similarly price to other local eateries. "
