“Unfortunately, the sensor light out the front of our bungalow stayed on all night, keeping our room very bright. Reported the issue and were told it would be fixed by maintenance. Night 2 had the same issue. 2 sleepless nights out of 2 had us very tired! Otherwise, room and views were awesome!”

“Located at side of Lake Macquarie. Must put Marks Point if you set GPS. The same highway number led us to a place 40 mins far away.
Owner of motel is a friendly lady and give us valuable info of where to explore and eat. Will stay there again for future visits. Restaurant at Gunyah Hotel nearby is very good too.”

“I’ve had two stays here over the last two weeks.
On both occasions, for the most part everything was great. My only disappointment, was has greasy/slippery the bathroom floor was in room 5, and the amount of dirt at the bottom of the shower floor in room 6. The toilet also need a good clean.
That aside, I was very happy with my stay.
Good parking, lovely room, coffee van right outside, great location, friendly staff.”

“The staff told me to park anywhere on the street until 9 tomorrow, so I dropped the luggage with my wife and tried to find parking. The bellman at the door just stood there and watched my little wife, who is senior citizen, load the heavy baggage onto a cart and didn’t offer to help whatsoever, and there were no other customers at all. It was very ungentlemanly if I’ve ever seen it. The next morning, I informed the front desk staff who didn’t seem to care and said it’s not his job.
Out front……
