Room is fine, quiet, safe and just a walking distance to Ayala Mall. My only complained was the IT staff was supposed to comeback to replace the cable box and change the remote batteries but he didn't comeback to fix the tv problem.

The room that we're in needs repair. 1. Light switch doesn't work. 2. Shower drainage slow to drain and floods when we use it. 3. Room smelled like drainage so we had to keep the fan on all the time. 4. Wifi is really bad. Almost none existent.

Original room refused as it was gloomy and apparently not of the previous rooms standards I have used, having stayed here before. I was given a room that had many small problems, so requested a paid update which was good. I personally spoke with Butch the duty manager who thankfully gave me an explanation. This hotel will be going through an update from March where all the small problems I identified should be resolved. This hotel now has many newer local hotels against it for accommodation. Hopefully the upgrades will be sufficient to provide competition. The location is great not being too far from the Ayala Mall. The breakfast is very good but try not to go too far to please an ever larger Asian clientele. I will look forward to returning to see the resultant upgrades.

The staff was great. The aircon leaked and so did the CR bidet - fixed quickly, but two things going south on one stay within a couple days of each other? Admittedly a rather long stay (17 days). "Early settlement" of the bill was an utter failure. We were not told that our room would be three floors up from the pool and that the New Year's band would be front and center of our night - no sleep until about 2:00am when we paid for a restful stay for every night. The hallways were very dusty (when was the last time they cleaned there?) and both of us sneezed very frequently while there. Floor access (security) is very good, though what stops a guest on another floor riding up with another guest getting off on another floor from going to that "forbidden" floor? Breakfast buffet was mostly wonderful (though the eggs were always cold) with a good selection and the wait staff was excellent. If not for the lack of asking if we wanted the loud music (it actually made the bed mattress buzz - they should have asked if we wanted that or to be on the other side of the hotel) with green laser light that tried to blind us New Year's Eve and the lack of response to the checkout they offered and did not follow through (I received a human response five hours after we checked out with an apology for the very late response), the hotel is okay... though I would say it is rather over-priced for what we experienced. Walking distance to Ayala Mall is a plus, but in hindsight not worth it.

3 pm checkin then housekeeping knocking on the door at 9am is not very comfortable. We got there at 130 and the overly polite girl told us it was too early to check in but if we paid an extra 1000 we could check in early. I figure the room is either ready or not. Felt like I was getting hustled for 1k. Then at check out I went to use the self checkout kiosk but an overly polite girl insisted on doubting it for me, almost insisted I sit down and wait. I didn’t want to sit down and wait, I wanted to go. Like I was being deliberately detained. I have stayed at quest more than 30! Times over the past 10 years, the overall experience is declining. So sad because I use to like staying here. Now it’s not as nice.

No issues with the staff. It’s a lot of hassle though to switch to different elevators to get from one building to the other. Also, the bathroom drain where we were booked kept overflowing making it risky for slips and fall.
