Worth the Drive
This little place is worth the 20 min. drive you'll make to grocery stores. A gathering of three homes around a green space. A home so comfortable it feels like you're visiting your grandma or some other dear relative. Super-easy access, friendly and helpful host. We had no trouble with wifi; couldn't make phone calls but could still text. A great fire pit. The only possible downside for some could be that the home is located in the bend of the gravel road, but the road is only for the three houses and there was so little traffic it didn't bother us.

Best home away from home
This is a lovely place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. My husband and stayed here 2 summer nights and it was so relaxing. Jennifer was very accommodating. She brought us fresh eggs and told us where all of good swimming holes were. Good price. Will definitely be returning in the fall!

Away from life’s normal pace
This property was breathtaking. I was not expecting the remoteness of the location so make sure your gps is on well before arrival! The last several miles are on gravel roads and then the last mile is a dirt road. The house is outdated but very clean with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I was especially impressed with the stocking of the kitchen. We stayed in March before it was warm enough for creek play but I imagine it would be very busy in the summer months. The camping on top of the hill is very tempting for a return summer trip and I’d love to come to this property again in the winter.

Exceeded Expectations, Absolutely Excellent! 5+ Stars, A Hidden Gem.
Let me begin with it is extremely hard for me to describe how awesome this rental was. It’s almost like finding a hidden treasure. The property itself is gorgeous, so just pulling up to the property it’s almost like being in a movie set. The landscape is perfectly manicured, the cottage is immaculate and very maintained. They have added so many personalized touches that you can feel the effort the moment you arrive. The amount of all the small details they have done leave you with that feeling like woah they must know me and every time I turned around again the little things would instantly think I love these people, they are so awesome because they make it effortless for you. In complete honesty I feel like they are modest when describing their amenities. The Cottage is very spacious, meticulously clean, a ton of added extras. They offer everything that you would have at home and more. We were greeted upon arrival, asked if we had any questions also offered wood if we wanted to have a fire, offered fresh eggs, vegetables etc. It was like having your own fresh farmers market it was a wow moment because I don’t experience that type of hospitality normally. They send you a text with their direct number in case you have any issues or need anything, I thought that was super cool but everything was great so I never had a need to send a text. All Linens, toiletries, dish soap, laundry soap, some cooking spices etc all available saving you money and if you forgot to pack something there is no emergency because chances are they thought about it and it’s there. I could write a thousand more praises on how super cool this place was to stay and if your on the fence I’m suggesting from experience 5+ stars, it’s definitely a must. I would definitely stay here again and have saved this place.

Perfect Getaway
If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place to relax and getaway, then this is the place to go! The cottage was very clean and stocked with essentials. Jennifer is an amazing host and quick to respond to any questions we had. It is located in a remote area, but if you love catfish, visit Catfish Camp Restaurant. Its about a 30 minute drive, but the scenery is beautiful. We will be visiting again.

We booked the cottage at peaceful hills this time vs the cabin due to availability it. It was great. Beautiful property with plenty of sight seeing to keep you busy. Or you can just hang out on the property and enjoy the peace and quiet like we did. Walking the creek is always a good time.

Lovely retreat
After a long day on the road, arriving at this getaway was just what we needed! My son played the piano, we tied at foosball, cooked a meal (brought the groceries with us), watched the stars, and slept soundly. Jennifer was a perfect host! Highly recommend!

Let’s just say peaceful hills indeed. Even though it had a few neighbors everything was quite relaxing. The children loved the play set; couldn’t keep them off of it. The host was very informative and responded in a timely manner.

Our peaceful stay in the woods
We came from downtown Nashville after a wedding. The change of pace we experienced on arrival was wonderful. The cottage was exactly as advertised. Very clean and lots of amenities. The owner was kind and quick to respond to each of our inquiries.

"Peaceful Hills' is an appropriate name for this property, as my family and I had a peaceful and very relaxing time there. The Lodge was beautiful, clean and well maintained, and we had no issues whatsoever. The owner, Jennifer, was great at communicating both before and during our stay, and we could not have asked for a better experience.

This cottage was absolutely perfect! Even though we only stayed for one night, Jennifer was the perfect host. There was mints on our beds and fresh farm eggs in the fridge for breakfast (we had to get up early and hit the road otherwise we would have totally enjoyed them). I’ve already talked to my family about booking this cottage next year for a longer stay!

Such a beautiful property! Peaceful Hills is just that…peaceful!!! The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. Jennifer is the sweetest host and was very accommodating of our needs. The farm fresh eggs down to the chocolate on our pillows was the perfect touch! My kids loved exploring and playing in the creek and yards. We would not hesitate to come again!

Great spot, not as private as pictured
This is a wonderful home, very clean and includes tons of extras such as cooking spices, condiments, bug spray, even extra toothbrushes! The home is not as private as pictured though. There are two other cabins facing the screened porch. The gravel driveway to the other cabins runs around the corner and back of the cottage and we saw several residents and even the mail carrier fly through at high speeds. So be very careful if you have children playing out there. It would be nice if all the porches were screened. We would've used the other porches if the bugs hadn't been so bad. The parking area could use some gravel as well. Also, there is no way to completely lock the home. The back door to the laundry area had no lock on it and when we were gone to the zoo someone came in and loaded the washer and dryer full of bedding without letting me know they were coming in. Other than that, we had an excellent time and were very pleased with our visit!

In response to this review, it is not in my practice to enter a home that is rented without first communicating and gaining permission from the guests currently staying at the home. From time to time the laundry has been left by accident in the washer or dryer. In that case, the bedding has to be rewashed after guests check out. There is a working lock on the laundry room door that leads to the outside, as well as a lock on the door that leads into the home. Hope this helps. Thank you.

Very nice, private, yet, fun filled location!
If you are looking for some fun out in a rural area that is set away from all the hustle and bustle, this is it! It is miles of winding and dirts roads to find this well kept, hidden stay. The owners house is on the property and one other listing, but still a nice distance from each other, but nice to cross paths and chat! The middle area is a great place for the kids to play and adults to sit and chat. I spent a lot of time in the hammock on the screened in porch. A feature that the majority of my group (husband and 4 kids) enjoyed was the creek! The water is beautiful and clear and has various depths! If you go a few miles up the dirt road (you will need to drive) you will find the rope swing and little water fall type feature. It is so beautiful and peaceful and the water is 5 to nearly 6 feet in one spot! Bring water shoes! It is fun to take an exploring walk through the creek from behind the cottage. There is a small hike in a couple spots you can take. Lots of bug spray! Grocery is about 30min away, but really not a big deal. We drove to a Walmart and did a grocery shopping trip and then enjoyed meals at the house. The owner was alway available to answer any questions and everyone is very friendly. Highly recommend this stay!

Lovely Pitstop
Great property for us to relax and recharge after driving all day. A little out of the way but well worth it! Hope to come back and get the full effect of the property and surrounding area. Great location near a stream with plenty of wildlife. (We spotted a few turkeys before we left in the morning)

A slice of heaven
The property is beautiful! Yes, while it’s 30 min away from everything, we loved the remote location. It was so nice to not hear traffic. This was an amazing place to slow down and take it easy. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies; however, if you want normal sized coffee mugs, bring your own. Also note, there is no dishwasher, so be prepared to wash dishes. Thankfully, my husband was our dishwasher. The only complaint I had was the master bed was very squeaky. Jennifer was very helpful and responded to questions quickly. If you are looking for a day trip, I would recommend Historic Main Street in Franklin , TN. If you go, you must try Pucketts! Best fried chicken on the planet.

Wonderful getaway
Cottage was clean and had super hot water and excellent water pressure. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 kids. The cottage has a nice screened in porch with a view of the fire pit and playground (as well as the lodge and cabin) . Front porch has a view of the creek. Water was close to the road and easy to access. Very cold and shallow. Caught small fish and crawdads with nets. Played kickball and football on the grassy area in the center of the 3 properties. Took a very long hike on one of the cleared trails. Grilled several times during our stay. Kitchen had everything needed for cooking. No dishwasher so be prepared to scrub some dishes. Large tv in family room but didn't really watch it. The owner was quick to respond and very nice. It was a relaxing and fun-filled trip.

Cottage Stay
If you are looking for relaxation and peace and quiet you will love this little cottage. The only downfall or complaint we had is how far it is to the nearest grocery store and to any attractions. Jennifer was wonderful and addresses our questions promptly and was very knowledgeable and thorough in her answer. We got to see some wildlife which was so awesome!!!

Great Getaway
We needed a place to safely getaway from all the COVID craziness after being cooped up for four months, and this place was perfect. We wanted something remote and loved that you had to drive on dirt roads just to get here. House was clean and well stocked. Kids loved playing in the creek and on the playground. Tried to do one of the hiking trails, but it was 95 so didn’t last long with three little ones. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a quiet getaway

My family of six visited on our way to Alabama. It was a perfect stop! The house was well kept and clean and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the woods and the fire pit and the nice big yard to play in. Our favorite was the creek! We had a blast building a dam and waterfalls and exploring the water. Weekend Get away!!
We stayed with this property for 1 night in June 2019. We were impressed with the property decided to return when we had 2 days off. This time we met the owner at checkin time and she was very sweet. The house was extremely clean and well maintained. They property was great we rode over 49 miles total of the beautiful scenery. In the mornings we witnessed wild turkeys right out the kitchen window. We plan to stay again hopefully in next few months. Don’t for get to bring a little extra cash with you. There are fresh eggs 4.00 per dozen you can purchase. You get one free with your stay.

We needed a place to stay for our sons wedding and Jennifer’s cottage was perfect. She is a very attentive gracious host. The box of farm fresh eggs put in the fridge for us we’re wonderful! The cottage was very well stocked and had everything we needed to prepare for the wedding. The area is beautiful and secluded. Just what we wanted! Everything was clean and we felt right at home the moment we walked through the door.
