"The rooms were spacious and so very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful . It was nice to have access to a hot tub and sauna after a long day of hiking : Highly recommend"

"The property is outside of Yosemite park, about half an hour drive without traffic from the Valley. Beautiful scenery right next the the river. Unfortunately, our room was on the road side away from the water, but a short walk and there were rocking chair you can seat, enjoy and soak in the whole surrounding. Kind of pricey though. Room was small, a little stuffed, but clean and well stocked. No paper towels (we asked) in the kitchen. We had to ask for dish soap & sponge. We had a good time though."

""The property itself is nice, cozy, clean, and well-equipped. However, as two women traveling together, our main concern was tent security, as it could not be locked from the inside. This kept us from getting a good night's sleep. Additionally, our check-in experience was frustrating. Expedia failed to send instructions, no one answered the phone when we called the lodge to confirm, and there were no road signs guiding us to the property. We were worried it was a scam, but it turned out to be real and we had a good stay overall. Addressing these communication and security issues would greatly improve the experience.""

"Very Bad property. Elevator was not working until the staff had to manually push the door open. I had to call and replace microwave in my room as it wasn’t working. Worst thing curtains on outside facing windows were so thin. I woke at 5:30 AM due to sunlight hitting on my face and whole room being so bright. Stay away from this property."

"I've been staying here for decades under 3 or 4 different names going back to 2002. I love the new grounds and pool area. I just feel like in the main building that has just had a light remodel doesn't justify the new prices during the height of the season. They're the same old rooms with no central heat or air. There are missing finishes that still make it feel like its the same old dumpy motel: exposed cables from the tv running down to a dangling power strip, a bath fan from 1984 that sounds like plane is taking off they didn't bother to replace. Like I always say about Mammoth there are high end and low end accommodations with no "middle" while charging huge prices. The value just isn't there when any weekend you can fly to Utah and stay in a recently built or upgraded big chain hotel for less with better amenities and service."

The Ranch at Death Valley – Inside the Park

"The check in was great! Albert upgraded us to a cottage which was a nice surprise. I was disappointed with the food selection at the buffet. There was only one fish item (catfish) which was very mushy. I am a pescatarian and would love more seafood choices or maybe even a vegan burger. We used the pool 2 separate times and thoroughly enjoyed it. My only complaint was the used towel bin was overflowing to the point where you couldn't put another towel inside. Very unsightly. Not to mention inconvenient. My husband asked a question about the pool to the guy replenishing the towels (no, he didn't empty the full bin) and he said he didn't know, he's just the "pool guy". Well, that's why we asked him!!! Then we saw the sign on the gate explaining where the water comes from, etc. I think the employees should direct people to the sign if they don't know the answer. Also, when we got to our cottage there were 2 vacuum cleaners sitting in the roadway in front of the unit across from us. Not very nice to look at. For the prices of this hotel, I feel you can do better."
