“We opted to stay at the Isal de Flores because we were returning from Tikal and Yaxha and needed an overnight spot close to the airport for an early-morning flight out the next day. It was a very good choice in terms of location, transport to the airport, room quality, and responsiveness of the staff. The rooftop bar is a nice addition, but be aware that the beat of the music from the bar when it turns into a club at night can be a little disruptive. Flores island itself has its charms but is……

“The room is very small, towels have holes and are not white. Bathroom is extra small, staff is ok many people not doing nothing. Breakfast is ok, not variety options, hot tub is not hot and pool is open very late in the morning. The place is not good for resting, noise of bars until 1am and there are pigeons living in the roof or something. Very cute style but I would say this is a $50 at most hotel”

“Flores eignet sich gut als Startpunkt für Tagesausflüge z.B. nach Tikal. Das Hotel ist ausschließlich mit einem Hauseigenen Boot erreichbar. Das Zimmer wurde während des Aufenthalts nicht gereinigt. Wer die absolute Ruhe sucht, ist hier richtig. Hotelpersonal war nur selten zu sehen. ”
