“We were in New York for an anniversary trip with a focus on seeing Broadway shows. We had several questions about the safety of the area late at night (it was safe), restaurant recommendations for after or between shows, and general sightseeing questions. The staff was very knowledgeable, very friendly, and helpful with absolutely everything we needed. When we come to New York again this is absolutely the place we will stay!”
“Although the location isn’t close to Time Square but it is very close to the subway and many other sightseeing destinations such as the Trump Tower, the Museum of Modern Art, the Central Park, St. Thomas Church, St. Patrick Cathedral and the Grand Central Terminal, etc. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who not only want a comfortable sleep but also with a helpful and extra nice front desk service experience. ”
“A small cozy boutique hotel that ticks all the boxes of convenience, comfort and cleanliness. Although the room was small but it was very comfortable. I was surprised to find it so quiet at night even though we were right in the middle of Times Square! Both my son and I slept very well in the 5 nights we were there. The breakfast was also delicious and the restaurant is really gorgeous. The only negative thing I could think of is the so-called front desk. The staff is constantly on their phone……
“This hotel was great for my husband and 7 yo son. So accomodating, friendly, and a great location to many site seeing adventures. When we checked in it was raining and we had about 2 hours to kill before check-in. They offered to give us all hotel umbrellas for the afternoon and even upgraded our room before we arrived at no additional charge!
This hotel is within walking distance of Central Park, 5th Ave shopping, the Plaza Hotel (for a drink in their Champagne room). Rockefeller Center was……
"Good location with several metro entries and a CVS and many restaurants nearby; clean but not crowded pedestrian walk in front of the hotel gate to easily get on and off the car with luggages.
Room size is okay while still bit compact to unload the big suitcase with other small ones. Amenities are okay/basic generally within our expectations. Room is quiet for us thus we had good sleep/rest. Like the breakfast offered from the destination fee, although not too many choices but basically sufficient to me with good services. staff and cleaning ladies are good. Free to depose luggages of course tips are what it takes.
I wrote to prefer a high-floor room but ended getting a low one and the staff told me he could not change what’s in the system. Don’t quite understand…well that’s what it was. "
