“We could have done with a safe in the room for the security of our valuables. Swimming pool excellent after a hot day sightseeing. Breakfast was also very good. The staff were very helpful at all times. Can strongly recommend this hotel.”

“It is super conveniently located, good private parking (at a charge). The place is clean, typical Italian decor (colorful and lacking of finish) - absolutely ok! We did have an unfortunate experience: the tlf.no. we got online was apparently wrong (turned out to be that of a landlady for a property next door, who uses the same parking facility). Through message we were guided to the apartment. As we got instructions upon contact regarding the parking, & seing that the adress & dot on the map was……

“Condition of residence much better in photos. No hand soap or hand towels. Only 2 bath towels for 2 people. Only soap in unit was dish soap. Changed check-in time from 1600 to 1700 which was not convenient. Could have used better instructions to access parking garage off main road and then provide walking directions to unit. With a little more TLC this place could be outstanding. In its current state I would not stay again. One pillow had no case and was stained. Beds rickety and thin memory……

“The three story house built into the mountains overlooking Lake Como could not be more perfectly situated for a colossal view. The photos do not do the house justice and Sara made us feel welcome, in spite of our not speaking more than a few words of Italian. We loved staying in Moltrasio and at the house because it feels more rustic and relaxing than Bellagio, which we visited and once was enough. “Terrazzo Torno is a remarkable and secluded getaway off the beaten path in Lake Como. Arriving at the Villa is a grand and private experience. It took some communication to get the taxi driver to the final location. He stopped at the Mandarin Oriental gate though I had told him we were not going there. When we got to the right spot, he was hesitant to drive down the steep switchbacks to reach the villa but I had read another review that said you must insist! He still didn’t take us quite all the……
