"Some of the positive reviews are likely from week-days. NEVER go here in the weekend. Your room is above the hotel's pub that makes your stay unbearable. It is not just people having a drink, but actively partying and shouting with a dj. This place should not be listed as a hotel. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. "

"Had a lovely short break in the Murton cottage to extend our holiday in the cottage next door as we were having such a great time and weren’t ready to go home. The cottage is well equipped and pleasantly decorated. It is ideal for a family. The wooden stairs are steep and spiral so perhaps not great for anyone with mobility issues. The setting is quiet and a pleasantly rural location but close to the town by car to get to amenities. So many fantastic places to visit nearby and beautiful beaches. Ideal family holiday!!"

Extremely roomy, good wifi, a welcome cake and Shortbread, the grounds are really nice, even has a table and chairs to sit under the trees in, only 10 minutes drive from Berwick, loved it."
