We tried to use the ice maker but it appeared to leak so we just made ice cubes. Light over stove did not work. Plenty of towels was appreciated. I hope we left it in good shape. We tried really hard! Thanks”

“The house is good sized with 3 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, and comfortable living spaces including a screened porch, outside deck, and large yard for kids to play or to have a campfire. The property was clean and spacious, with comfortable accommodations, all within minutes from either a terrific Lake Superior beach or Lake Independence. And while Big Bay is a smaller community, it does offer a convenience store in case you need a last-minute grocery item or an ice cream……

“The owner has done a nice job of furnishing with pup friendly things. They are eco-friendly. It’s walking distance to downtown.I always hope for a dishwasher in a rental which it did not have.”

“Lovely, charming home! When we arrived, air conditioning already on so we entered a nice cool house as it was a warm day. Host had an information book with everything we needed to know. The deck has spectacular views and we enjoyed an al fresco dinner. The hot tub was a welcome added bonus! Great (fast) communication with host when I had a question about it. The home is beautifully decorated and the kitchen well stocked with everything you need. Bedrooms are large and the bed was very……
