Clean, homey, instantly feel comfortable. Beds were very comfortable and we really appreciated all the amenities. This was our second stay at the Canfield House, and will definitely stay again when visiting family in the area.

Fabulous location

We stayed for 4 nights and the house is so cute and the location is fabulous. The gift basket, slippers/robes/body wash bags, and bottle of wine was such a nice surprise! Would stay there again!!

Great stay

The house was perfect for what we needed. Check in was a breeze and the instructions for check out were clear making it very painless. The house itself is next to the square and close to all the amenities chardon has to offer.

Back home

Chardon was a great central location to visit family and friends. The home was beautiful and comfortable. We loved walking the Town Square and checking out the Farmers Market Saturday morning.

Great place

This charming home was a perfect place for us to rest while visiting family for our niece and nephews graduation. Very kind owners, provided everything we needed and very communicative - appreciate all the history of the house and we appreciated the kindness shown with the fudge, and small goodie basket that provided any last minute things we forgot. We’d love to stay here again if we come back!

Cute place and great location

We had a fantastic stay! A cute house with a rich history and a convenient location, coffee or a bite to eat is within walking distance. Experiencing the tapping season and enjoying maple treats was a unique and delicious experience! We weren’t too far from local vineyards to visit during the ice wine festival. An enjoyable location and visit.

Quick weekend trip

Michael was super responsive and very helpful. The house is beautiful, clean and spacious. The kids loved the pool table. Would definitely book again when we are back!

Great house in nice town

Canfield house was a great stay. Very clean, had everything we needed for a group of five. Very close to many nice shops and restaurants. Hosts do a great job with details. Would stay again for sure!

Wonderful Stay

We loved our stay at the Canfield House! The house was lovely, a great location, and perfect for our group. Mike and Lisa are wonderful hosts! We appreciated the kind note and goodies that they left for us—including cookies and little toiletry gift bags for each of us. Definitely would stay again if in the area.

Lovely Property - Fun Stay

Enjoyed walking for dinner on the square, driving out to the covered bridges, Geneva on the Lake, and Ashtabula. Excellent communication with hosts and treats on arrival. Would definitely return if in the area.

We were visiting Chardon for a family reunion. We loved the Canfield House. It was perfect for all our needs. Michael and Lisa are excellent communicators and truly have thought of everything to make sure our stay felt just like home.

Welcoming Home

This was a perfect home for us to stay when we biked the Maple Highlands Trail. Chardon is a charming town with great places to eat and a beautiful town square. The place was clean and the hosts were gracious.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The owners were very accommodating, and left us some great treats for our check-in. Also, we stayed during Thanksgiving, and the owners dropped by an electronic turkey roaster for us to you, which work out perfectly. Our young daughters loved the kid's room, which had a toy chest full of fun toys. I would stay here again.
