“Nous avons 4 jours dans cette vieille demeure , nous étions 2 familles avec des enfants de 4 à 14 ans. La maison est idéale, de la place, bien aménagée, de la place, un jardin et une piscine. De quoi passer un excellent séjour. Rien à redire.”

“Marj en Bruce zijn geweldige hosts. De gîte is meer dan volledig uitgerust en ligt in een mooie, grote tuin met eigen stukje bos. Marj en Bruce zijn erg aardig en zeer attent. We voelden ons erg thuis en hebben het enorm naar onze zin gehad.Het heeft ons aan niets ontbroken.”

“We enjoyed a lovely week at the Gite. The house was a very comfortable , cool, converted barn with a well equipped kitchen / dining room and a nice outside space for eating too. The pool area was lovely - very clean and peaceful. The bathroom is relatively basic with only one (separate) toilet. Lovely comfortable beds and beautiful surrounding countryside. Thank you for a great holiday! ”

“from the moment we arrived we felt so welcome and the feeling grew as the stay progressed. Fran is a very friendly host and her husband John was just as welcoming. The gite and pool are in a beautiful, quiet, nature filled part of the Charente. The decor in each room is a clever mix of antique and modern. It is immaculately clean; generously equipped; a well insulated house. We enjoyed feeding their hens too!! We fully recommend this gite.”

“Nous avons passés un très bon moment en famille dans cette belle demeure en pleine nature. L'endroit est très confortable et on s'y sent vite très bien. On est au calme, on a eu de belles soirées étoilées, la proximité des chevaux apporte une certaine sérénité. Le lieu est proche des grands axes routiers sans nuisances, il est donc facile de sillonner la région. Merci à Dominique et ses filles pour leur accueil, on garde l'adresse pour un prochain séjour !”

“Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Vermieterin wohnt mit Tochter gleich nebenan und steht in sehr charmanter und unkomplizierter Art stets bereit, Wünsche zu erfüllen und Tips zu geben. Einschränkungen gab es bei der WLAN Verfügbarkeit. Wir fühlten uns wie unter Freunden und kommen gerne wieder.”

The landlady is always available and super friendly, but you will also find enough peace there if you are looking for peace and quiet and want to escape the world for a while. In the nearby town you can find everything you need for life: a supermarket, bakery, post office and a tobacco shop. We had a very pleasant stay there for 5……
