"We truly enjoyed our stay here. It was exactly what we were looking for. Peaceful and beautiful view of the water that you can walk down to. Friendly neighbors. We did not use the kitchen. There is everything you'd need if you want to cook. Also a grill available outside. As others stated, very clean. Owners were super friendly and easy to communicate with. Thoughtful owners also had extras in case you forget something or two or three :-) Lots to do in the adjacent areas within a short drive....

"Little Oatlands was home for 9 of us for a flower filled week in May. We assembled from KC, BC, CA and VA to attend my daughter’s wedding overlooking the Potomac at Murray Hill. The property and approach to Little Oatlands takes your breath away! Flowering Dogwoods line the drive blending with the white fence and homes in the distance. Each of us walked down the lane to read the plaques and the history of the preserved property. Certainly a history lesson and it would be wonderful to know...

"We really only stayed 12 hours while enroute to our final destination.... BUT, the beds were comfy, house was clean and the kitchen seemed well stocked with pots/pans and dishes! I wish we could have stayed longer but we'll definitely keep it on our list to come back to!!"

"Highly recommend we had a blast. House is very well outfitted and for our 3 couples we each had our own bathroom which is a glorious thing. Beautiful views, three firepits and the lake made the outdoor space just what we needed. The climb back up to the house from the lake is no joke not for the elderly but our group of fifty something’s did ok and it was worth it. "Everything about our stay was perfect from beginning to end! The check-in process was easy and arriving in the house was so welcoming! The hosts went above and beyond with the extra touches of drinks in the fridge to the bathroom baskets and snack baskets to the fully stocked coffee bar. There were 16 of us and we had so much space and enjoyed our stay! We were disappointed that the weather didnt cooperate for us to use the outside oasis. It was absolutely beautiful!
