31 Marsh Island Lane is located on an island surrounded by marsh land and wild life. The view is 180 degrees of marsh land including the Atlantic Inland Waterway. Marsh Island is in the gated resort community of Wild Dunes which is located on Isle of Palms, 20 minutes from Historic Charleston, SC, voted as a top US City for numerous years. 31 Marsh Island was completely remodeled in 2014 with a Chef’s Kitchen including a five burner Viking stove and other Viking appliances, hardwood floors throughout, three spacious bedrooms and three updated bathrooms, “heavenly bed” mattresses, new deck railing to enhance views, a dual HVAC system, sauna, wood burning fireplace and custom décor, including custom Daisy Berry Linens. There’s also a sunroom with panoramic views and a hammock within a screened porch, plus a sauna! This home is ideal for those wanting to relax and reinvigorate! Ask about our return renter discount!!!

***As of 2022, Wild Dunes has decided not to allow guests of non-Wild Dunes Rental Company to use the community pools and fitness center that the owners would purchase access for through the sports card. Our guests will still be able to access the tennis courts, pickle ball courts and book tee times at either of the golf courses. We choose to privately manage our home due to the personal attention we can give our renters as well as to the personal amenities we have included in the home. Thank you and our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this Wild Dunes Association change has caused you!***

Great spot on Wild Dunes

Perfect weekend!

High School Friends Weekend

Had a wonderful long weekend with old high school friends at Marsh—Mellow. The house had everything we needed, and while in a quiet location (with beautiful views!!!), was also convenient to things we wanted to do when we did venture out. Allison was responsive and helpful with any questions we had.

Isle of Palm

This house is amazing. The house is gorgeous and the views are stunning. There’s a view of the Marsh from the back of the house and the bedrooms. We saw deer and heron all over the Marsh. The front is across from a golf course. The beds were extremely comfortable and so quiet. We loved it and would go back.

Marshmellow

The area is lovely, the house is rather secluded and private which we found appealing. The views were exceptional and bathrooms and kitchen clean. We never were able to open the garage so couldn't take advantage of the golf cart or bikes.... besides that, no problems.

Comfortable, well-equipped home with a fabulous view

Marsh Mellow was a wonderful place for a family member to recuperate from surgery. Not far from grocery stores and great restaurants, it was indeed close to nature, with the broad decks on two levels giving us front row seats for watching herons, egrets, kingfishers, butterflies, deer, and the gorgeous changing skies. Added touches in this home were the spices and other cooking extras available for our use. Coming home to Marsh Mellow was a pleasure.

Lovely location. The marsh is amazingly quiet and peaceful. Eclectic decor. Everything was clean. Nice living spaces and great outdoor spaces including a downstairs screened porch. Owner has thought of many extra details.

Reconnecting family

Our family (mom, dad, 3 brother's and sister) all 45+ ages needed a place for a long overdue reconnect weekend. The setting is like something described in a Pat Conroy novel, and really set a perfect scene for all of us to spend time together and just talk and catch up. We absolutely recommend this home, its set apart from the rest of the resort , quiet, and has a 180 view of the marsh landscape. We spent most of our 3 days on the porch , it was perfect.

Marsh Mellow is the perfect getaway!

We are three couples who attend the Charleston Open tennis tournament every year. For the last three years, we've chosen to stay at Marsh Mellow and we are always delighted! The marsh views are fabulous, both from the panoramic glass windows facing rear of house---and the two story porch. The house is decorated beautifully with art and paintings, like a home, not a rental. The house manager Allison is super responsive and the house is always clean, set up properly with king beds for us all and well stocked. Highly recommend!!!

Gorgeous Setting

This home is situated with 180 degree views of the marsh. We enjoyed watching beautiful birds, interesting cloud formations and even a double rainbow! The house is comfortable and very well stocked. The sunroom and decks are perfect spots for morning coffee or cocktails. Access to the oceanfront Beach House and its bathrooms and shelter is delightful. The only thing that would make this place perfect would be to repair the tires on the advertised bicyles . I will be returning!

Beach / Marsh getaway

This was our families second visit to Marsh Mellow (2018). We were concerned about the Wild Dunes access and no golf cart. Neither was an issue. The house was even better than we remembered with some nice upgrades (AC was great). The views on the marsh for both sunrise and sunset are the best we have ever seen on vacation. Our college age son and his friend had plenty to do and full access to all wild Dunes had to offer and did not miss the resort pool. They did use the courts, the pool we had and we rented chairs through wild Dunes for the beach. Allison was on point once again responding to any text in a timely manner. With rented bikes, everything is within (3-10 minute) ride. When we went to the beach, we simply drove supplies down to the boardwalk and road bikes. If you want a golf cart simply rent early. Overall we loved this stay and will be back again. The house and location are amazing to unwind.
