This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

Getting Around:
You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

We had a lovely stay. This apartment is clean, quiet, and beautiful. We enjoyed being away from the hustle bustle of the city, but being close enough to pop in and out when we needed to. We found there were plenty of restaurants close to the place. Parking was super easy. The host was available if we needed- which we didnt! :)

Overall it was good. Would have preferred the weather had been better. The location of the property and access to it were not the easiest, especially as one of the members of our party is handicapped. However that is my fault for not reading through the description of the property. I did not realize until after I booked that it was an upstairs unit. Nevertheless, we managed and enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and comfortable.

True Southern Hospitality

We had an unfortunate accident at our home the morning we were leaving and the owners were very kind to work with us to move our trip up 1 day so we would be able to still have our vacation. The Owners also were so kind as to welcome us with a free bottle of wine and free delivery for the wine, cheese, and prosciutto to the residence. The area and the people are amazing. Truly make you feel like you are at home. We didn’t want to leave.. We have decided to make this a yearly family tradition. Thank You for everything! We appreciate you all!!

Decent but nothing more

Good size property and rooms. Easy to have free parking next to the property. Clean kitchen and nice little outside patio. Windows are on the older side, hard to open and close (and very dirty so probably haven’t been cleaned in ages.) While nice to let a breeze come in, surrounding is very noise as it is located next to a large hospital. If you like a good shower in the morning, look for another place, water pressure so weak you couldn’t even wash your hair…

Such a cute and clean place!!

This place felt very homey! A nice place to return too after a long day out exploring. If you bring a heavy suitcase, there are a couple sets of stairs to get to the upstairs unit. The bathroom was so spacious to get ready!

Check in and instructions spot on, place was spiffy and cozy! We were made to feel valued by our host. Needed to drive to most places but public parking is plentiful in Charleston, so not a big deal.

Medical MUSC

Our stay was due to daily medical appointments at MUSC, and the location was ideal for walking. The rental was very neat, tidy and pleasingly decorated. I would recommend the rental for anyone who may have a family member at MUSC, and are in need of a place close by to stay.My only suggestion would be to maybe place a clock in bedrooms and living area for us “old fogies” that are not dependent on electronic Thank you yourpad for providing a wonderful stay.

Good For Price Point, Maybe Better Options

Overall, we chose this property because it seemed nice, was downtown, and was more affordable than some of the others and I think the price made sense for what we had. The location is just a couple blocks off of the nicer area of downtown, but you can still have some characters near where it's at. This didn't bother us given we weren't going anywhere late at night. The pictures are accurate, but you can't tell from the pictures just how small some of the spaces are. For example, the living room has the couch, but not much else in there. Having 4 people stay there could be a little tight, especially if anyone has any checked bags. That said, it wasn't a bad stay overall, especially if you're looking to save 50-75/night.

Great Girls Trip

This was a great little spot for our girls’ trip. It was difficult to find when we arrived in the dark, but once we did, we loved it. We came during the Christmas/New Year holiday, so the provided parking was super easy due to students being out of town. We were able to park right behind our building. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. You could technically walk to the historic sights and restaurants, but we drove down there because some of our group couldn’t walk that far and we didn’t feel comfortable walking back in the dark since we were a group of women. We all agreed we’d be happy staying here again if we return to this beautiful city.

The neighborhood concerned me at first- but we did feel safe coming and going. I wouldn’t have walked alone however. Appreciated the Charleston Guide book being provided. The bathroom could have had Kleenex in it. Dryer sheets would have been nice. A bin for recycling in the house would have been good
