Perfect location! Not much for quite though. Charleston city living is just that city living.

Loved the location and property. Great condition and comfortable. Night time noisy, trucks, street cleaning and random conversations can be heard throughout the evenings but that is true for most of the city street residential rentals.

Awesome House!

Great weekend, had 9 guys in the house and with the blow up and couch we managed to sleep well. House is beautiful, and the location was perfect. Appliances in the kitchen were plentiful and useful and functioned great. Couldn't have been happier with it!

Great location, a little noisy, but one caveat

We loved the location and the cleanliness of the property. Everything was in great order - except for some odd reason the water pressure in the bathroom sinks. It was fine at the kitchen sink and in the showers, but it was hard to even wash hands in the sinks. That's a small complaint, and everything else was great. Parking was challenging, but that's to be expected in this ancient part of town.

Close to Nightlife…and Close to the Noise

A group of 40-ish moms who planned to eat and drink and love a night of partying. But maybe we’re just not as cool as we thought we were! Revelers, cops, screaming, fighting until sunrise made it impossible to sleep. The house was generally as pictured and well appointed. The ice maker wasn’t working when we arrived as the water filter on the fridge had expired. The property manager told us to buy bags of ice and they would come fix it…they never showed up and we never heard backs from them. In general, the stay was fine but with lots of options in a city like Charleston, I wouldn’t stay here again.

Great location, decent property.

The location can’t be beat. It was very close walking distance to lots of fun in Charleston. There were elements of the property that were not functioning well, I tried to bring them to the attention of the hosts but didn’t get much of a response or option for fixing the issues. The trash can outside was full when we arrived, leaving no space for our garbage during our stay. There was no solution offered for this so we had to leave garbage bags on the ground outside by the can. The master bathroom layout and vanity are not very functional. The left hand sink in the master bathroom drained VERY slowly, which I also brought to their attention. I was again not offered any solution for this. Overall, for the price, I would be hesitant to book here again or stay at any of the properties owned by this company.

Awesome Week in CHS

We come to Charleston frequently and spent a week in this rental with three couples. The location is awesome if you're looking to go to the upper King bars + restaurants but, as others have said, it's very loud at night on the weekends. That's just to be expected in this part of town, though! The house was spacious and made us feel like everyone had their own space which was great. We had no issues throughout the week and the house worked perfectly for a friend trip!

We had an awful stay

Everything that could go wrong did. First of all, Stay Duvet told us we could check in early. We arrived and the maid told us to "get out." We cooled our heels for 4 hours, only to check in and discover major construction was going on next door within 3 feet of the property. All new siding was being installed and the buildings are within a couple of feet of each other. Workmen pounding from 7 am to 7 pm. They blocked the entrance with ladders and were looking in the windows. My 2 year old granddaughter could not get a nap. Garbage was left at the house (two huge bags of shucked oysters, and take out containers). The smell was awful. They texted us at 11 pm to take out the garbage and the next night at 9 pm to take out the recycling. This means moving 2 cars parked tandem in the driveway with only inches to spare on either side. No street parking. Loud drunks on the street at 1 am. We were promised a partial refund due to the construction and the constant pounding we endured. Nothing. Stay Duvet does not respond to emails. Once they have your money, forget any customer service. If you expect to be treated well, if you expect competent property managers, if you expect any customer service at all, if you expect a relaxing stay, avoid this place at all costs. Worst vacation ever.

Thanksgiving in Charleston

The house and location are great! Plenty of room for everyone(7adults, 1 baby) and the house is right off King Street, walk to everything! The only negative was there was no cleaning supplies or kitchen basics. Ex: vacuum/broom, Windex, garbage bags, dish towels, etc. I don't expect a rental home to have everything, but they should definitely supply some of the essentials. The kitchen tools/baking/cooking/serve ware weren't the best but we made it work!

Great location and house!

We rented this house for a group of 8 girls for a bachelorette party and had a great stay!! The house is perfectly located, very cute and very spacious! Stay Duvet (that manages the property) is so responsive, nice and accommodating. You have a concierge for your visit where you can text them with any questions leading up to and during your stay! Myself and all of the other girls would definitely stay here again!!
