Excellent Stay

We stayed at the Barbados with five couples for NYE. We had a wonderful time. The home is beautiful, and each couple had their own bedroom/bathroom. The living room and kitchen areas are spacious and perfect for entertaining large groups. The yard area looks like a botanical garden. Great stay!

Wonderful stay!

This house was amazing! The living room and kitchen were perfect for a big group of friends. All the bedrooms having bathrooms attached was also a big perk. Would definitely come back and stay here again.

Perfect girls weekend

Our group of seven felt very comfortable in the space, enjoyed the outdoor courtyard and were able to walk to most parts of town. The front bedrooms facing the street can be a bit noisy, depending on your sleep schedule.

Son's wedding weekend

Great property for a family stay for a wedding. Fairly close to everything we needed. Great beds, all separate bathrooms, clean and functional. Did not use the outside pool area but the outdoor lounging options are great. Definitely would stay again.

Modern with old time charm

The place was top notch with clean and tidy room. The entire house is very spacious. The outdoor garden is also beautiful. Out furry baby really enjoyed the since it had so much place to explore. Love the old Charleston vibe in a very modern setup

Everything you want nothing you don’t

It was perfect for our large group with multiple families and kids. Every bedroom has its own bathroom and plenty of closet/storage space. The outside area is beautiful and spacious and spa was more than adequate as a kids pool and adult relaxation spot. The kitchen is well stocked though a little small so probably not so much for the big family dinner, but great for breakfast. The only time we had to contact the concierge was around midnight when we realized that we left a package at the main office that we needed for Easter morning and they answered and delivered the box to us within 15 minutes. Amazing. We all hope to be back soon.

Perfect for family gathering

Ten members of my family gathered here for Thanksgiving and we all had a wonderful time. The four kids loved the shared room, and all of the bedrooms were charming. The large table was perfect for holiday meals, and the open feel of the main floor was great for cooking, World Cup watching, and family games all at once. (I’m sure most guests mostly eat out, but we could have used some more pots pans and other cooking items… it all worked out though.) It was even warm enough for the kids to enjoy the plunge pool. The outdoor space is gorgeous. Parking fit all three of our cars. Stay Duvet was very communicative and made everything easy (including allowing us to check in a little early at the last minute). We got a reprieve from the construction next door on Thanksgiving Day, and it was only during business hours and not too loud anyway. We hope to return to Charleston and would definitely stay here — or at another Stay Duvet property — again!

Very good!

We were quite disappointed that the television in the living room did not work. The monitor was on however, it would not broadcast any television programs. We even changed the batteries in the remote. That didn't help. There was also a woefully inadequate supply of pots and pans. Also, there was a puddle of water on the stairs leading up to the second floor. It appears to be condensation from the A/C unit.

Mom/daughter trip

I stayed at this great house with my daughter who is 14, her bff, an 11 year old and my friend. We had so much room and the house is really nice. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and hangout areas are great. Nice kitchen and there was some coffee too! We loved the outdoor area too. It was a little too chilly for the plunge pool, but the girls got in. Everything is clearly explained through emails and in the VRBO. The location was great and you can walk or Uber easily to many places. The only part that was annoying was the loud construction at the building nextdoor which started around 7. It would’ve been nice to be able to keep luggage somewhere after checkout. I ended up changing my flight because I didn’t want to deal with it. Check in and out were otherwise easy. It was great to walk to the coffee shops and some restaurants and door dash was easy. The house was perfect for our four day mother daughter trip!
