“Beware of staying in this unit when it is hot outside. Upon arriving, we noticed that the temperature inside was not very cool. We addressed this with YourPad and discovered that the air conditioning unit is actually shared with the adjoining unit and that the thermostat is located in the adjoining unit. So, the adjoining unit has control over what the AC is set at. However, even when we could hear the AC running, we could still feel hardly any cool air coming up from the vents. We suffered……

“The location is excellent, walking distance to the downtown, historic areas. That street is very pretty. Communication with Courtney was great, check-in and out was smooth. I could leave my luggage there safely on my last day and pick it up on my way to the airport. There was coffee, water, wine, snack bars in the room. There are good cafes and restaurants nearby. I was traveling alone, I can imagine that the room I stayed in may be a bit tight for two travellers but it was said up front it is……

About a 10 minute drive to most everything you’d want to see in the city (Kings St, French Quarter, The Battery, Charleston Museum, etc) and 15 minutes to McLeod’s Plantation (don’t miss it!). “My daughter and I enjoyed our stay. The location is central to MUSC and all the shops and restaurants around the area. Loved the off street parking-we were able to walk everywhere! We also loved the added benefit of having a washer/dryer and a well stocked kitchen since we were there for 9 days. The bedding and towels were extremely soft as well. Communication with the host was top notch. Will definitely recommend and stay again!”

“While a very old and odd construction, the host did a fantastic job with the apartment. Most beds were super comfortable. No ice maker but plenty of ice trays. Make sure to bring any laundry supplies you might need. We couldn't find any but didn't use the machines in the kitchen. The bathrooms are nice but very small. So if you need room, they aren't super easy to move around.”

“There is wonderful shopping and dining closeby. The style of the house is a major appeal. Warning to those with mobility issues, there are steps everywhere so this is not ADA friendly. The master shower and bidet is awesome! Having laundry available was a plus too. The appliances are all top shelf and the kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans if you are inclined to cook. The parking is the only downside. That one space requires precision and an Austin Powers 12 point turn to get in it.”
