"My sister and I stayed here for our trip to Charleston and this hotel did not disappoint. You get exactly what you’re looking for, a historic hotel within walking distance, a beautiful lobby and interior with updated rooms but still having that old charm to it. The room was spacious with 2 large closets and a full length mirror (very much appreciated by my sister and I) The bathroom was smaller but to be expected with older hotels, the only downfall was the plumbing. The water pressure wasn’t the greatest so made for longer showers and the toilets didn’t flush well. But the hotel is in a perfect area. We flew in and didn't have personal transportation and were able to walk all over for great shopping, restaurants and sites. If we decide to return for another trip to Charleston we would definitely stay here again. We didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant in the hotel but it’s very convenient to have as well as a coffee shop. "

"Loved the aesthetics of this hotel. Warm, unique & wonderful. From the front desk staff to bartender & other staff super friendly group. Our room was awesome, huge with everything we needed, work space, table & chairs, couch, large closet, great bed and beautiful bathroom with great products. Would highly recommend this hotel for travels to Charleston."
