Emerald Beach Resort
10/10 Excellent
"The resort was clean and the employees were great. But the Cafe that had coffee and pastries was closed for the season . We went the last week of August. Also, the menu in the restaurant is very limited. We thought they would have seafood. The advertisement on the resort wall said, lobster, seafood , fish and evening specials. It wasn't anything like that. They had some fish sandwiches, hamburgers, taco's, and salads. So prepare ahead for food. Taxi service on the island is very expensive. And the taxi only take cash . Their prices are never the same. So be prepared. It cost 2 people 50 dollars to go down the island for an excursion. The 34 dollars to go back to the resort."

"The property sits on top of a hill overlooking Charlotte Amalie and as such has amazing views. My room was very big and clean with a small kitchenette and balcony. The hotel grounds aren’t very walkable due to the hills but I was able to call the front office to get a bellman to drive me around if needed. The poolside bar and the onsite restaurant are great to hang out at and meet people from all over. I would definitely recommend and stay there again."

"The room was the relief of every day. The air conditioner was working hard but was doing a good job. The room was very clean and they offered to change out towels and sheets everyday. The breakfast was great to start the day with and the restaurant attached upstairs is phenomenal."

"Hotel is up in mountains which makes the view BEAUTIFUL! Was kinda upset the restaurant was closed our whole stay. Breakfast was great made to order nice a fresh! Transportation to get where you wanted to go was kinda expensive.But it was available for us which is a plus! Its not your typical Resort no elevator. But overall we had a great time!!"

"Room clean, bathroom was good. Pool nice, staff helpful, balcony nice but WiFi doesn’t work as well on balcony, good views. Parking on street. There are lots of steps."

"Excellent place to stay on Saint Thomas. The owners are very responsive, friendly, and accommodating. Clean and spacious rooms a short walk from downtown Charlotte Amalie. This is a small, locally owned "hotel" that has an intimate, relaxed vibe. Easy access and parking."
