The pool was amazing! We loved being able to have a private dock to sit, kayak and tie up our boat. It was very quiet and felt like we were the only ones around.

Balloon festival weekend

Enjoyed the house, nicely appointed decor. Note to owner: A few things need repair. Lake view, pool, fire pit, kitchen, baths and yard very nice and comfortable.

Great Memorial Day Weekend!!!

We stayed for a long Memorial Day weekend (Thurs - Tues). Everything was great! The house was clean, included all amenities (towels, bed sheets, toilet paper, etc...). The backyard was great. The deck was very big and nice, the swimming pool was awesome. Highly recommend this property!

Great home by the lake

What an amazing place by the lake! My family and I were visiting North Carolina for the first time, and intended on visiting both Charlotte and the national White water center. We decided on this location as it provided a house we could easily stay in if we decided to take it easy. We did just that the first couple of nights. Most of the time we spent in the pool, and bbq'ed. Each room has everything we needed, and whatever we didn't have we could obtain from Publix or the such. Really happy with location, at the price. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Nice property

Things we Liked The pool. I appreciate it was cleaned on day 2. The backyard & deck. The bedrooms. The bathrooms. The ability to launder our clothes. The stocked linens, tp etc in the bathrooms & the supplies in the kitchen and laundry room. Disliked The code was changed at the last minute so when we arrived Saturday night we could not immediately access the house. We had to call to get the new code.More lighting for at night. Consider adding a desk & chair for telecommuter access.The stairs are very slippery. I fell down the stairs & almost hurt myself. Consider adding a rail to the right &/or a runner.There were curtain rods but no curtains &/or blinds on all 1st floor windows(excluding the 1st floor bathroom).Dryer does not adequately dry the clothes. You have to process for 2-3 separate cycles to completely dry the clothes.Cobb webs need to be removed from windows and fixtures.Grill was filthy & needs new grates.Hrass beyond the pool & gate needs to be cut.Boating dock accessories (life jackets etc) need updating. A lot of the items were rusty & dusty w/spider webs all over.Garage was locked & closed off and not accessible from inside the house. This I don’t have an issue with. However one day I heard a nose coming from inside the garage. That was un-nerving. It really creeped me out. Also one day we left & when we returned our trash can had been brought to the road. This further creeped me out. It appears that someone may have accessed the residence while we were gone

Great weather and great pool! Easy access to grocery and restaurants. Limited on kitchen supplies, but we were fine for the week with no big meals to make. Comfy linens and plenty of towels.
