Nice place
It would have been more comfortable with a few lounge chairs to accompany the love seat size sofa. Otherwise, it met my expectations and would recommend. It's not set up for spending time at the house which worked out for our busy weekend

A good little spot for a couple nights stay. Only gave 4 star on property condition as it is an older home versus a new reno rental (note: still an excellent rental). Host was excellent with any communication we had. I drive a full size truck and the driveway easily could hold another two vehicles. The kitchen is fully stocked and you shouldn't have any problems preparing meals during your stay. Overall, great convenient spot.

Before School Starts
My husband and Son stayed at the property before college began for the year. It was totally conveniently located just under 3 miles away from campus.

Perfect for family weekend at UVA
Had everything we needed. It was clean and spacious and in a great location to walk to the stadium for a game. We will definitely be returning next year! Thank you so much for having us!

Not a comfortable home!
To begin with, both exterior doors were very difficult to open and secure at night. Back yard was not conducive for animals. No electrical outlets in either bathroom Full bath ceiling began leaking as we got up this morning??? Watching television is a nightmare.. no one process just to watch regular TV!

Weirdly you never mentioned any problems during stay. I've never seen the ceiling leak, never had problems with doors, but there are keys if you didn't understand the keyless entry. I'm sorry I'm not sure what went wrong with fenced in yard.....I apologize. Sounds like you had an awful trip to Charlottesville.

Just what we needed
Even though this is an older home, it was very clean and everything worked perfectly. We especially appreciated the breakfast items (I was delighted to see the Keurig machine and a selection of K-cups provided!), children's books, and a few toys provided. The instructions for where to find things were spot on. We could not find a can opener or a 13x9 baking dish when we wanted to bake something for supper, but other than that we had everything (utensils and cookware wise) we needed to do our own meals. The location was easy to find, and very close to highway access. When we visit Charlottesville again, this will definitely be at the top of our list of places to look into.
