Owners Share Why I Love My Home:
We spent the summer of 2020 as a family at the Hideaway - the silver lining of a challenging year was certainly the memories made at our home. Our young daughter was entertained every day by having the beach, playground/baseball field, and Chatham Bakery (where Grandma spoiled her with muffins) all a very short walk away. She loved running through the sprinklers in the large back yard, and attempting to play wiffle ball with her cousins. Grandpa made daily use of the bike trail, which starts just below the house. And we were able to enjoy a few date nights - with Chatham's best restaurants in walking distance, or a glass of wine/beer by the fire pit. We have wonderful memories in this house, and hope you and your family will make some too!

Let Us Tell You About This Home:
Just under a mile to town, this coastal Cape home is located in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood. The completely updated Cape Cod Vacation Rental home offers all on one floor, open living with plenty of space to spread out but also enjoy each other's company.

The spacious living room with two couches, fireplace with built-in bookshelves, flat screen TV is yours to relax in. Updated coastal décor throughout with dark wood floors and soothing wall colors create a relaxing environment in the open concept living space.

Head into the fully equipped brand new chef's kitchen which is bright and light. The kitchen offers a center island with seating for four that opens to the dining area so family meals together are made easy. Modern stainless-steel appliances, gas stove, open shelving, quartz countertops, sunken sink, updated subway tiles all work together to make an inviting place to gather, cook and talk about plans for the day.

To the left is the open dining room with seating for 6 with entrance to backyard through sliders. Contemporary style dining table invites the whole family to sit for a meal and share memories of the day's escapades.

Working or learning remotely? A home office is off of the dining room with a twin day bed - the perfect private space to sneak away and use your laptop, have a Zoom meeting or offer to an extra guest to sleep.

Directly off of the dining room is the lush landscaped backyard and patio, fire up the grill and enjoy the lovely Cape evenings outdoors. Here you will find three distinct outdoor spaces - the cushioned couch with ottoman, an outdoor dining table with an umbrella and plenty of seating and hang out in the Adirondack chairs around the gas fire pit.

This home also offers a large, fully enclosed outdoor shower with both hot and cold water, utilize this Cape Cod tradition after a day of fun in the sun at the beach!

To the right of the living area are Bedroom #1 - Twin bunks with dresser, nightstand, closet, chair.
Hallway Bathroom #1 - Full bathroom with tub/shower.
Bedroom #2 has a Queen bed with ensuite bathroom with shower, dresser, closet, 2 night stands, two lamps. A SmartTV is a perfect addition when you want to watch a movie in bed - it's not connected to cable, so remember to bring your passwords for streaming apps (Netflix, Hulu, Prime, etc.).
​​​​​​​Finally, Bedroom #3 - Queen bed, two nightstands, 2 lamps, dresser, double closet.

There's a washer and dryer in basement and access to the garage to store your bikes! The Cape Cod Bike Trail / Old Colony Rail Trail starts just below the house (Note: 0.1 miles at the intersection of Crowell and Tip Cart)!

For Reservations made over 60 days away, you will make two payments - 50% initial payment with reservation and the final balance will be auto billed to your credit card 60 days prior to arrival. We accept Mastercard and Visa for payments.
A confirmed reservation is non refundable--please consider purchasing trip cancellation insurance. Ask our guest specialist for more details regarding cancel options and trip insurance.
***Linens - bed sheets, bath/dish/beach towels and bath mats are not included with this home but can be rented at time of booking or at a later date through our linen rental partner. Please ask our guest specialist for details. Our NEVR Homes come with mattress covers, pillows and a bed cover such as blanket, quilt, bedspread etc.
