This is an excellent area for walking with many coastal walks taking in views of dramatic cliff top ruins including Dunstanburgh Castle. Beyond the Castle is Craster, a picturesque village famous for kippers and other smoked delicacies. A variety of seabirds and grey seal colonies can be observed on the Farne Islands by taking a boat trip from Seahouses.
