I hosted my birthday staycation here and it was wonderful! Perfect place for a large group. The hosts were incredibly responsive and friendly. Everyone commented on what a great find this was!
Great house, nice ammenities and outdoor space. A reasonably short drive to downtown and other attractions. Not in the greatest location, but had zero issues and was very private.
Our stay at this property was great! The location of the property was very convenient to downtown. The property itself was very clean and the amenities was as described in the listing. The owner was very quick to answer any questions we had and communicated very well. Thanks for helping make our weekend such a good time!!
Beautiful house! Owners were easy to communicate with and helpful. We had so much fun! Plenty of space and close enough to everything we wanted to do. Highly recommend!!!
We took our young adult sons and their girlfriends here for a post-grad/birthday celebration, and everyone had a wonderful time. The house is great, especially the kitchen and deck with games, swim spa, fire pit and super comfy seating. Lots to do, and conveniently close to the highway—a quick drive to downtown Chattanooga. Would definitely return to this property in the future.
We loved our stay. The house was big enough to accommodate 9 adults and one kid. We loved that the kitchen, living room and porch had enough room for all of us. We spent a majority of our time on the porch enjoying the beautiful weather. My kid loved the hot tub and yard games. I would definitely stay again. The house was very nice.
The space was perfection for our family. The game room was seldom vacated and the hot tub was frequently used. We found the kitchen to be adequately supplied. May I suggest a couple improved skillets --no longer non stick. Highly recommended!!

lots of room
PROS - close to downtown, plenty of cook wear, upstairs stayed temp comfortable with box fan at vent. loved the fenced in yard with gate. Plenty of paper products.
CONS- propane tanks were empty for grill, and fire pit tables ( got those on day 3). Microwave was dirty, uncomfortable furniture in living room. Picture showed 4 or 5 tanning loungers-there was ONLY one there. Lawn care was poor.Gate doesn't close completely -we tied it with a rope. Were told there would be bath soap etc -a very small bar down stairs -none upstairs. No conditioner.
We absolutely loved the property & ended up not leaving to go do things in town because there was so much to do at the house. The host's are amazing! They were super helpful & friendly & made sure we were well prepared for our stay!
Our stay was a business leadership team retreat. The house was very comfortable for our group of 10. We could all gather around the kitchen table to work and really enjoyed the outdoor space for down time. Kitchen was well-stocked so we could easily prepare all of our meals without going out. We loved the charm of an older home that has been well-maintained with nice decor. We also loved that there were so many things to do - relax in the pool/spa, putting green, games, ping pong table, and much more.
Our group of 14 adults had an excellent time at this home! The house has plenty of a seating for a large group and the hosts were beyond accommodating. I would definitely recommend this VRBO for any large group trips!
The property was perfect for a family getaway! Rooms are all spacious and comfortable. There was lots of time enjoyed together between the upstairs game room and hang out area, and the outdoor swim spa and firepit! Would definitely stay here again!
Home was beautiful, deck is large and very nice. It lists as having a "pool" but that is misleading. It was still enjoyed by everyone! Location is a bit sketchy but we never felt unsafe. Would definitely stay here again.
Great house and close to all of what Chattanooga offers
The house was amazing! The place is huge and exactly as it is shown in the pictures! It was a perfect getaway for our group of friends and we enjoyed the deck and all the amenities it had to offer. With a chefs kitchen set up to entertain and tons of seating we never felt cramped. Plus only a $7 Uber to downtown we will definitely be back!!! Thanks Brittany and Jeremy
The house was bigger than expected, spacious, clean and we had no complaints. The deck is huge and plenty of room to accommodate a huge group of people. I would definitely recommend this house for any large gathering to just relax and have a blast. Both the upper and lower decks were perfect for the ladies to sun bath in privacy, while us guys had more than enough room to have to games of corn hole going at the same time. Highly recommended spot
We had a small family reunion at this little oasis. The home is adorable. Great touches and ambiance. The back deck is fantastic. Its huge! A swim spa to die for, a fire pit, grill, dining area, sunning area and games. The home sits on a hillside above a busy road so expect some motor traffic during the day. It does subside a bit at night. Its a very industrial neighborhood so venturing requires driving. That is no big deal because dtn Chattanooga is minutes away. We had everything we wanted and needed so we didn't leave the property the whole time we were there. Its a very relaxing environment. Hosts were very accommodating and flexible. I will definitely return to this little oasis.

Huge disappointment
First of all, this home is in a run-down ghetto part of the city.Worst of all, it is located right on a very busy street so vehicle noise is constant. Also, this home is probably 100 years old with several original features including windows and doors. These provide little sound deadening for the noisy neighborhood. We found the overall house to be dirty. All soft surfaces such as the couches, comforters & dining room chairs are visibly stained. The back deck is in rough condition with a lot of uneven surfaces and splintering wood. There is a "security " gate that is a pain to operate and never completely closes, so it provides little to no security. We watched the mowing crew push a lawn mower through the "closed" gate. Several light fixtures in the home are dirty with blown bulbs. We enjoyed our visits to the aquarium, the Incline, and Ruby falls. The area has a lot to offer, but I wouldn't stay at this property again even if it was free.Out of the 6 nights we paid, we only stayed 3 nights. The loud traffic, loud car stereos, and general noise drove us to forfeit our prepaid stay and find somewhere nicer to spend the remainder of our vacation. The owner offered no apologies for the condition of the home. When I brought the maintenance and cleanliness issues to their attention,I was surprised when they stated they stay often themselves.Of the 40+ homes I have rented in my adult life, this one is by far the worst.Owner does not recognize that the home is not up to VRBO standards.

Beautiful view but overall disappointed
Have used VRBO for 7 yrs & always had stellar experiences & never left anything but a 5 star rating so this pains me.However, I rely heavily on other reviews so I am doing this so others know what to expect.I will start with what was good & right. View off back deck is beautiful.Deck/fitness pool area is great. Fire pit & chairs were gorgeous.Really enjoyed large connect 4 game out there. Ping pong table & xl Jenga game were a hit. There was several things in house that were stocked. I asked for earlier check in & they did their best to work that out. Upstairs update is really nice. Now for the downfalls... neighborhood is badly rundown and trashy. An hr after arriving had to msg owner to let her know that back door was broken. Cleaning was subpar. fridge had about 10 or so used items in it. Not sure if it was from previous guest but all open & used. Could have been left out of courtesy but esp during a pandemic, I feel that should have been cleared out & disposed of. Upstairs shower had some open used bottles of shampoo as well as a few new travel sz ones. This shower also had a used bar of soap, that is again not something I'm comfortable with. Mid week we had a heavy downpour & noticed sunroom roof was leaking onto ping pong table & wooden floor. We dryed everything up & grabbed pans to sit under each of the leaks. Owner did ask if I wanted them to come out but we really didn't want to have them out working on the property while we were there. We didn't feel comfortable using lights in that room since there was water leaking around light fixture so she suggested flipping breaker. We were only able to use sunroom & ping pong table during daylight hrs due to no lights.Thurs I sent another msg as pool was turning green due to chlorine floater being out of tablets but never got a response. Around 2pm that day, we kept hearing a beeping noise every 2 to 3 mins. Kept thinking maybe a smoke alarm needed batteries but couldn't figure out where beeping was coming from. Didn't want to msg again since I hadn't gotten response about pool.We spent several more hrs taking every detector down to pull batteries, no avail & CK thermostats for low batteries.was getting late & we knew we couldn't sleep with that going on. Had to msg again & owner said it had been a long day at work & gave us husband's number, he had to come unlock basement door, was a detector beeping down there. Overall just not the VRBO experience we are used to. Definitely disappointing.
We rented this place for a get together of old college friends. 9 guys in the early 40's. It was perfect in so many ways. Plenty of room at the table/counter area. As long as no one snores, the upstairs beds handled our crowd - leaving two private rooms downstairs with king beds each. Comfy bed by the way.
The deck is what makes this place an excellent stay: Two fire pits, a grill, some outdoor games (cornhole), a large table to dine on, and such a sizeable hot-tub.
Cons: You're in a seedy section of town with industry and buildings for your view unless you ignore them and focus on Lookout Mountain. There is a gate though and I didn't see any shady characters about so I realized it was a pretty safe place after a day there. Only two bathrooms.
A beautiful home with an amazing huge hot tub and deck.. My Grandchildren loved playing ping pong and the hot tub is more like a small pool, we enjoyed having s’mores on the deck in the evenings
