"This location was ideal for us as we travel with two dogs. The room, straight off the courtyard, provided easy access and was large and well equipped. The dining room was also easy access and parking was very close by. Just outside the property is a park and a lake with woodland. This made it perfect for walking the dogs. "Beautiful place to say with spacious gorgeous amenities,great welcome and lovely breakfast.We arrived Tuesday so most local eateries were shut .There is a reasonable restaurant 12 kilometres away but we opted for a straight forward dish at the local walkable pizzaria which was fine .In fact there is free use of the kitchen & Madame keeps a healthy stock of wine & beer that you can purchase.It would have been far more sensitive to bring our own food - next time if it’s a Monday / Tuesday."

"Their photo is misleading. It looks like a pleasant guest court yard, but is actually storage for bikes, supplies and the back door of the kitchen and bar. Our room was 3 floors above a small bar on a walking street, up very narrow winding stairs usable for only small carry-on luggage. The room was very basic, but clean. The lobby was small used as reception and breakfast in the morning, but was a bar in the evening with 6 to 8 locals that used all of the available facilities. Parking was...

"We've been welcomed by a very friendly, wonderful couple. We could enjoy the living room in the main house and even the library as well. In the morning the huge breakfast was more like a brunch! Our suite (close to the main house) was very comfortable, with both bedrooms upstairs. Bedrooms are pretty big. The second bedroom with 2 single beds is perfect, for example if there are 2 kids. Just note that you'll have to go through the main bedroom to access the bathroom. You can park your car...

She also made a recommendation and a reservation for us for dinner at a nice restaurant serving local dishes at reasonable price. Breakfast was delicious with homemade omelet, fruit salad, cheese, ham, pastries and yogurt. The owner if full of amazing stories about her family and ancestors. Unforgettable place to stay."
