“Everything was wonderful”

“This place was great. It exactly met our needs. There is a great gym, a really nice heated indoor pool and a cute little park. We stayed in one of the townhouses. It was clean and had everything we needed to make meals. We will definitely come back next time we visit WV”

“1. There was trash everywhere. We were there three nights and the trash wasn’t picked up in common areas… condiment packets squeezed out everywhere. 2. Amenities listed on Expedia and the resort website are not available. 3. Pool is advertised but covered with renovations and dirt. 4. Renovations are being done in one section. You never saw any workers. Guests have to walk through the section with open tiles with hanging wires and the smell of mold. 5. First room had no lightbulbs… second room……

“The staff incredibly friendly. Saw one the maids go out of her way to help a senior citizen. The restaurants also very friendly but seemed to be understaffed for breakfast. Otherwise nice place to stay.”

“We stayed as we were driving through on a long roadtrip. It was perfect for us with our small kids. They even provided a rollaway bed for our youngest. The staff were friendly, property felt safe, and breakfast was nice. The options provided for breakfast were perfect for grabbing and taking on the go so we could get back on the road (breakfast sandwiches, yogurts, etc.). Would stay again!”

“Stayed for 1 night. I would have given the hotel 5 stars but the staff fell short. We were told at check-in that the restaurant would open at 7am. We went down to the restaurant and 8:05. A woman was behind the counter. She looked at us but didn’t say anything. We asked if we ordered at the counter and she responded “ yes in 5 to 10 minutes.” She was not friendly or very happy. We walked down the street to find some place that would be happy to serve us breakfast. At checkout my wife voiced her……

“The bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly, the room smelled like wet dog and everything in the room was covered with dust. Also, there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom so you can't see in the mirror after showering.”

“Parking not onsite as advertised”

“If you are visiting Kendrick Family Ballpark, this is the ideal place to stay. It is directly across the street. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Though breakfast is not included, the in-lobby Starbucks provides more than enough options for breakfast. The only negative, the rooms do not have microwaves.”

“I was very comfortable in my room. It was really clean and I had everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again!”

“Need to inspect the room prior to releasing. Food in the fridge and trash. No apologies from the staff when we turned over the leftovers from the room. We stay a couple of nights every year here and noticed that thing’s have been neglected.”

“Loved my stay at this motel. The friendliest staff I have ever encountered, so helpful and friendly. Everything is so clean and well maintained. Sits up high with wonderful mountain scenery.”
