    From its large corner lot, Bighorn & Bluebell provides breathtaking views of Lake Chelan. Guests can enjoy spectacular displays of the July 4th and Winterfest fireworks from the convenience of the wrap-around porch, swings, lawn, and firepit.

    Designed for entertaining large groups, the main floor boasts an open-concept layout flooded with natural light through ample windows. The great room impresses with a soaring 20' vaulted ceiling adorned with a striking Sputnik chandelier. Here, guests can relish in the comfort of a large sectional sofa, the 65" TV, a Sonos sound system, a library of books, Blu-ray movies, and board games. Whether indoors or outdoors, gather around the two-way fireplace for cozy moments. Music enthusiasts can easily share their favorite tunes using the Sonos or portable Bluetooth-enabled Bose speakers.

    Food lovers will delight in the expansive chef's kitchen, fully equipped with premium Bosch appliances, gas and induction cooktops, a wine fridge, and a walk-in pantry. A combination of Keurig and drip coffee makers and a fresh coffee supply are provided. Just outside, a Weber Genesis grill awaits outdoor culinary adventures. The spacious dining table seats eight guests, and the adjacent large island accommodates four more. Nestled in the staircase is one of three desks.

    Bighorn & Bluebell offers four inviting bedrooms, each featuring a king-size Casper Select hybrid mattress and a 55" TV. The two grand bedrooms, including one conveniently located on the ground floor, come with desks and en-suite bathrooms. These luxurious bathrooms feature a spacious soaking tub and/or a walk-in shower. The kids (or kids at heart) can retreat to the space-themed bunk room, featuring four built-in twin-sized beds. Additionally, a full-sized sleeper sofa is available in the great room.

    Entertainment abounds in Bighorn & Bluebell with two impressive game rooms, perfect for unwinding on the lake or in the snow after a day. The vaulted game room on the upper floor offers a neon-lit, club-like atmosphere for leisurely activities, including an 8' custom pool table and a matching 12' shuffleboard table. Guests can also enjoy a classic arcade machine and wall-mounted Connect 4 and Scrabble versions. Adding to the excitement, an 85" TV, wine fridge, and bar. Double doors open to the second-story deck, providing views of the pool and Chelan's captivating sunsets, creating an ideal spot to relax and stargaze.

    The converted garage houses the second game room, catering to more active and lively pursuits. Equipped with a 75" TV and Sonos Beam connected to a Nintendo Switch for multiplayer gaming, this space entertains everyone. Guests can enjoy air hockey, arcade basketball, premium cornhole boards, and an indoor/outdoor ping-pong table. The garage is insulated and climate-controlled for year-round fun.

We stayed with 4 families and 3 kids (11 of us total), and the house had plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals and BBQ, which made it easy to enjoy dinners together at the house.The location is fantastic — just a quick walk to a nearby winery and close to the vineyard pool. The two separate game rooms were such a hit, keeping both the kids and adults entertained, while the fire pit was the perfect spot to relax at night. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend for families or groups looking for space, comfort, and fun amenities in a great location!

An Amazing Family Getaway!

This is a truly remarkably appointed house. It has everything you could possibly need to entertain your large family (up to 12 people). It has a multitude of games to entertain, an incredibly well stocked kitchen, four amazingly comfortable King beds and a four person bunk bed room, exceptional air conditioning, large and comfortable living areas inside and out (decks and fire pit). And, the location is second to none in this magnificent "Lookout Resort" which also has amazing amenities. Two large pool areas of which this home is about 20 steps from the 1st pool area. It has pickle ball courts, a shuttle that take you around the resort with pick ups every 15 minutes. The resort has it's own marina and beach area and a wonderful grass concert venue that overlooks the city of Chelan and Lake Chelan. And, it's a short walk (10 min.) or drive (2 min.) to the city of Chelan which has it's own outstanding charm. We expect to return and encourage you to "book it"!

Excellent home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is AMAZING! We have rented quite a few homes for vacay and this one hands down is the best. The 2 game rooms kept the kids entertained the whole stay. There is also a TON of board games to choose from (good ones). The kitchen was well stocked. Anything you could ask for is likely there. Storage containers, baking pans, grilling utensils, crock pot, and so much more. I was really impressed and we cooked 3 out of 4 nights in the home for our large group. There is also a lot of outdoor seating both for eating and relaxing. You can really spread out in this house. Our only issue is we were using the fold out bed/couch, and it was not cleaned. We called the office and they took care of it immediately. There is a cute Cidery just down the hill that was nice to walk to (we didn't make it to the winery but it is also very close to walk to). We used the shuttles around the property and that was nice if you are feeling tired to get to places a little easier. There was also daily activities that we took advantage of such as the Bingo and slip and slide on the hill. Pools were excellent. This house is just a couple of steps away from the bigger pool. I loved the location - it is right at the entrance but we didn't find that to be an issue at all. We walked into town several days (about a mile). The shuttle takes you to the top of the marina hill and then you hop on smaller vehicles to get shuttles to the top/bottom of the marina. That hill is steep so its a great option especially in the summer. Our only meh experience was renting from the marina. We rented a jet ski and a pontoon boat. Not horrible. Not great. They could definitely work on customer service and safety. Our time out on the water was great though! We would love to come back to this home someday.

My children loved the two separate game rooms and the proximity to the lower pool. The adults enjoyed cooking in the fantastic kitchen. The house is well laid out to offer private spaces to a large group of people. The only complaint, which will eventually go away, was the constant stream of very large and loud trucks coming up from the new development area and driving right past the front porch. Overall, we highly recommend this home!

Second time staying - marvelous house for families to share

New home with some HVAC and EV charger issues to solve. Still recommend to others.This is our second time staying in Bighorn & Bluebell. The family that owns the home and designed the experience were really thoughtful. Every room was spotless and comfortable. We brought along our 3 kids (6, 4, 1.5) and grandparents. The first time we had two families with 5 kids (6, 5, 4, 3, 1.5).The garage play space and proximity to the heated pool were major highlights. The kitchen had everything you need, and the beds were very comfortable. There were some issues with the HVAC system both times we stayed. The kids bunkroom drops down to ~50 F at night, when the rest of the house is set at 69-71. The other bedrooms upstairs also drop in temperature, but none as severe as the kids room.Luckily there are plenty of blankets. We informed the lookout staff during both stays. During our first visit the low temperature was -20F - they sent an HVAC crew that looked at it, but they only changed the filter. We were surprised the issue was still present during our second stay. The low temps were ~35F. This time the thermostat showed a pressurization error. The lookout staff decided to not call an HVAC crew since it was the weekend. Hopefully this gets address before your stay. Its a premium to rent the home and a lot to manage at night.Second challenge was the advertised EV charger did not work either visit. We brought two EVs, so this was important for us in selecting the home. Fortunately, the staff allowed us to use the neighbors EV charger since it wasn't busy / reserved.We've stayed in a number of lookout homes over the years. This is among our favorite. Being at the entrance, it is very convenient for the pool and playground. The tradeoff is you see every car that comes in an out of the neighborhood. Didn't bother us, but if you want more privacy you might select a different home.

We have 5 kids ranging from 1 to 6 years old between our two families and it was the perfect place to spend time indoors! Kids and adults all loved the arcade games in the two game rooms, the bean bags to play video games and watch a movie, the comfy sectional where we could all fit to chat and play games. The kids were smitten with the outer space bunk room with so many cool touches like the galaxy lights. The huge kitchen had more than everything we needed to make all our meals. We were there during Winter Fest and got to see the fireworks from the yard while bundled up and making s’mores over the fire pit.Not a negative thing to say. Loved it all and our friends already have a second stay booked :)

They have put so much thought into just about everything there. Plenty of things to keep us busy at the house if we weren't at the lake or pool. Everything in the community is in walking distance or had transportation to get to where you wanted to go. We loved our stay and look forward to coming back, making it a summer tradition.
